Its Not Wax Paper...its just thick paper.
It was ok...but its not water proof which is what I thought I was buying...I like using wax paper on my counters during food prep of stuff like meat and chicken...Its a good amount of paper but I wasnt pleased with its performance.

Quality product
I received my butcher paper but haven't had a chance to cook with it yet. So far it looks and feels high quality and I have no reason to doubt it will cook well. Exactly as advertised

Must Have for Serious BBQ Smokers!
The Stone River butcher paper worked great! It really made a difference in my smoked brisket and produced the best bark I've ever had while keeping the meat moist and juicy. It's a little pricey but worth every penny.

Love the product
Love the product. Word of advice though...the 18 inch isn't big enough to cover a larger sized brisket (13+ pounds) so go with the next size up.
