after losing my beloved ghd curve, i had to purchase an “emergency” alternative. this waver is actually pretty good for the price.pros: affordable. has different heat settings. is easy to use and leaves the hair with loose, beachy waves. comes with a protective cover and a heat resistant glove.cons: waves don’t really last very long so make sure you’re using a heat protector and curl activator to prevent frizz and fall out.

Having never used a curler before I was unsure, however this curler works perfectly and creating amazing curls / waves

This barrel is huge, way to big for me to wrap my hair around. I didn't notice a size on the ad but I'm sure there was somewhere

Great for producing loose curls & heats up nice & quick. Impressed! But then it IS a well known brand. You can get thinner wands if you're after tighter curls..even tapered ones. My curls held all day & I personally think the curls look more natual with this product as opped to tighter curls. Thumbs up! Remember this is a wand & not a tong so there's no clamping..just a wrap around of your hair.

This wand waves your hair I was hoping it would have curled a bit more, gave it to my 12 year old to practice with

The media could not be loaded.  As someone who never curls their hair, I am very impressed with how quick and easy this curler is to use. From the pictures you can see my hair straight, then after the first try on 190 degree setting, I left the curler around my hair for 5 seconds and saw a wavy, loose curl. I tried a few more sections and adjusted the thickness to see how tight or loose the curls can be. I used some hairspray to set the curls as my hair does not hold curls well and all day i had natural, beach wave looking curls. Very impressed and will use this from now on to add curls and volume to my hair instead of usual straight style. I am glad it comes with both a protective mat to rest the curler on and also the glove as I used it without the glove at first and burnt the tip of my fingershen holding the hair end in place around the curler. A recommended item that is simple and does what it claims.

Had high hopes for this wand. I’m very used to this type of styler so was excited to try the oval shaped barrel. Unfortunately it created kinks in my hair and the waves was not nice and soft. I got very long hair, might work better for shorter hair?

I couldn’t get on with this curler, I don’t know where it was user error or whether it was the product itself. I have shoulder length hair, and I couldn’t get a curl to happen! I tried a smaller piece of hair, same thing. It has potential to be great, I think if you have longer hair. I will just stick to using a straightener to curl from now on
