GREAT for IMMEDIATE NEEDS AND / OR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
I took the photos with a ruler and these pads are larger than I thought even though listed accurately as 12 x 30 inches.. My family does have an ongoing need for smaller size pads so these can be used as folded or cut down to size if not used for an emergency. The labeling mentions Ever Ready First Aid and that is the reason obtained these. I think it is important to be prepared and stock up on some emergency supplies in case of an emergency or natural disaster situation. Also if you coach, participate in remote sports and outdoor recreation, have scouts or work with children it is great to have a few supplies on hand for an immediate response. Some people may want if they are “preppers”. If you feel the need to be prepared for an emergency given your circumstances these are a great addition as very few people would have this in their first aid supplies. These are also great for post surgery wound care.My suggestion is if not an immediate medical need for these is to share or split with family or friends for their own emergency kits and for the price get a good number of pads. If you have to respond to an emergency and have these accessible you will never regret having these on hand. If you don’t use them in a reasonable time you can cut them down for more mundane everyday scrapes and use.I am adding a couple to my car first aid kit and my home. There are so many emergency situations where these would be helpful. If you are prepared for routine first aid situations owning these can give you peace of mind if a trauma situation happens --especially if help is delayed or a distance from you. I checked the manufacturer website and impressed with their selection and the quality of products listed. If you know any first responders they can confirm how quickly a situation can turn bad.

They Are HUGE!!
The pads are huge, 12" X 30", and the box of 50 pads is huge! It is a large Amazon box without a plastic bag or anything to contain them. These Ever Ready First Aid Multi-Trauma Sterile Non-Woven Dressings are going to be used as a part of our preparedness first aid supplies. We are not overly serious "preppers", but we are working at it! My adult son and I live together and we are planning for natural emergencies, loss of utilities, or even war, although we pray that none of these events transpire. The pads are huge, as I said. Think about it, they are a foot wide by two and a half feet long!! They are multi-layered with one layer being moisture-resistant and another being moisture absorbing. They may be opened and lose their sterile state, but then they may be cut into smaller sizes. I opened one to see just how it looked and how easily it would cut. Of course, unless you use sterile scissors, you will not have a sterile pad any longer. It cut very easily and the different levels were easily visible. Bear in mind, that one level is moisture resistant but NOT moisture-proof.If you have no use for fifty pads, consider sharing with family members, or neighbors, or even donating them to your school or church! I am sure they would be greatly appreciated. These pads are just like insurance, they are something that you hope you will never have to use but, if you do need them, you will be very grateful that you had them available. I do recommend ordering them!

Excellent for first aid kits -- thick, large & absorbent; hopefully I'll never need them...
These are great sterile dressings -- they are by far the largest and most versatile bandages I have in the first aid kits I am assembling (one for the house and one for each of our vehicles). They open out to the stated size of 12" X 30" but are folded to approximately 12" X 6" with many thin, cottony layers and are about 1" thick (when folded). Each dressing is individually wrapped and marked as sterile unless package is damaged, wet or opened. The method of sterilization is not provided, but the expiry date is 10/2026. These are thick and absorbent and can be used to apply pressure to a pulse point in order to control bleeding or placed over a draining wound and fixed into place with first aid tape or an adhesive secondary dressing. The packets have a paper front and plastic back and are easily opened by separating the two layers at the top. I ordered the pack of 50 and since these are rather bulky, they take up quite a bit of room and are shipped in a pretty big box. I do think the box should be wrapped in plastic to protect the contents. The individual dressings do compress down well so I can fit 8 or 10 into each first aid kit. These bandages are quite expensive if ordering the smaller packs, but I ordered the more economical pack of 50 (currently priced at $99.00 or $2.00 per dressing) which seems quite reasonable to me.

Large gut-suckers. Very useful
- Made in China- Pkg marked "sterile unless pkg opened/damaged" but no method of sterilization mentioned- No expiry or lot infoThese are huge, gut-suckers. They are encased in the usual thin weave non-stick and the pad inside is all one piece so no separation. These can be cut as needed with a little creative taping for the raw edges. They don't actually look/act like the 3rd current listing pic shows, nor would you tape one on like that, but it's the general idea.I got a 10 pack and 50 pack and I suspect the listings will be combined so this covers both as they're the same. Just note that with the 10 pack, the individual packs come in a large single bag but the 50 pack came just as 50 individual packs tossed in an Amz shipping box. These are great for larger wounds and can be cut down for smaller wounds that ooze more or need padding. Very flexible and a very nice addition to your prep.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you.
