I've been using this serum in the morning for 2 weeks and my skin feels great.The serum is quite drying so pair it with a good moisturiser if you have dry skin, if you have oily skin this is perfect for you.VitC gets degraded fast by sunlight and can make your skin sensitive to UVA/V rays, so use always with SPF30+.I use this serum in the morning and the retinol serum by the same brand in the evening, my skin hasn't felt this good for ages, but once again, SPF people!!! Important!

It's nice , gives you soft skin but that's about it , it doesn't tighten in any way and is a very sticky serum , I wouldn't buy again

I received this from the Amazon Vine Program.I use Vitamin C for my face in the morning and I have been doing this for more than 2 years now.Vitamin C is a very powerful antioxidant. It helps reduce signs of ageing by minimising wrinkles and fine lines. It also helps brighten skin and prevent hyperpigmentation.This Vitamin C serum from Proactive is in a 30 ml clear bottle. This is the second vitamin C that I tried that is not in an amber bottle. The serum is also pinkish unlike the vitamin C that I normally use which is clear. From what I have researched, Vitamin C serums are in a dark bottle to prevent oxidation. And they are usually clear so discolouration is obvious to show if product has oxidised.This contains 10% vitamin C which is a good percentage. Vitamin C it should be between 8-20% in order to be effective. I normally use the lower concentrate which is 8% but this has not cause any issues with me when I switched.The serum is translucent - redish/pinkish. It contains perfume which is not overpowering.How I use it: I use 2-3 drops of the serum in the morning after double cleansing my face. And then I apply my moisturiser and sun block.It is thicker than the usual vitamin Cs I have used in the past. It was a little sticky at first but eventually became ok after a few minutes. It took longer for my skin to absorb it maybe because of the thicker consistency.Overall it is not a bad serum. % vit c is good. I did not experience any breakout or irritation. It has a faint scent. It smells nice but skin care should be fragrance free. Is it effective? Can’t really tell as I have not seen any obvious changes in my skin yet.It costs £19.99 at the time of this review. This is more than 2x of the vitamin C that I normally use (8%). The price is a bit steep for me even for a 10%.

Nice serum and easy to apply. it leaves a slight tackiness straight off which would be nice to apply make up over like a primer..or give it a few more minutes and it soaks in totally. I can't talk for lasting results but my skin felt nice and no adverse affects. Plus my skin loves vitamin c

I’ve only used this product twice so not sure about the long term benefits but if you’re planning on wearing this on a daily basis forget about MAKEUP. It peels like a mofo! Plus it feels very sticky. Unsure of the other benefits though.

Oh no. This is least favourite vitamin c serum I got. Don't know know why, didn't have any breakouts but I didn't just like it maybe because of the colour of the bottle which over powered me not able to see the bottle and it ran out so fast. Nah not for me

I only bought this because of the price, but I didn’t like the smell, or the feel on my skin. It felt sticky and didn’t seem to sink in. I only used it once and it just wasn’t for me.

I’m loving this product. I’ve put off getting a serum for ages but so glad I did. I can already see after a short time the difference it’s making to the tone of my skin. Happy!
