Great tool, but pricey for only one.
I homeschool a couple kids with ADHD who also have sensory issues. This is a great fidget toy, but not worth $12.50. Maybe if there were 3, like I thought there would be. I feel pretty ripped off. lol.

It's the perfect fit
Think this will be awesome, for adults and kids. You can see it's strong enough to leave marks in an adult's hand if you squeeze hard. It's soft enough not to injure a child or leave permanent marks (these were gone by the time the pictures transferred to my computer). The spines aren't sharp at all. It's very light, so easy to carry but not something that will be fun to throw around, which is what I tend to do with some other fidgets. It fits nicely in my hand, where spikey massage balls don't at all. Definitely not a pocket fidget that will be inconspicuous for adult professionals unless you have big pockets (like medical lab coats). I can see where it'd be good as a sensory brush, smaller than regular brushes, though that's not my thing. It does seem strong enough that tossing it in my bookbag won't rip the spines off, but we'll see. I'll update the review if it doesn't last.

Perfect for all of my kids
This Sensory Stixx is truly wonderful. My child with sensory issues has not put it down since it came in the mail. My other children love it as well and I plan to purchase one for each of them now. I actually took it to work with me for a few days to trial it before giving it to my son, and I found it helpful to fidget with while trying to make it through meetings. Such a simple product, but so many uses.

YOU ONLY GET ONE...NOT THREE!
Be aware! The picture is very deceptive since is shows THREE stix, but you only get ONE and you don't even get to choose the color. I suppose I should have read closer but it never occurred to me that the picture did not represent the true quantity. This was going to be a gift but I feel silly giving only one, even though it was so expensive. Not worth the price for JUST ONE!!

sensory stick is a perfect
We really like the sensory stick and so does our son. The only thing we were slightly disappointed in was that there was only 1. I thought I was getting 3 of them but I am sure if I would have read more closely it would have said 1. But all the pictures made it seem as if we were getting 3 of them. We love the one but I wish it would have been more clear because I would have bought more than one.

My son who has ASD loves these. They are easy to hold onto and not big or obtrusive.
My son who has ASD loves these. They are easy to hold onto and not big or obtrusive. He has SUCH bad fidgeting that I have to beg him to hold on to these so he will STOP picking at his thumbs. My son picks at his thumbs so bad that they bleed. These sensory feelers to hold onto do help IF he holds onto them. ;-)

One of my daughter's favorite fidget toys for years
One of my daughter's favorite fidget toys for years! She uses these to fidget with while doing homework. I don't recommend for school use if your child tends to put this in their mouth. Mine does and I was it after home work. Otherwise, it's a good classroom/ quiet fidget toy. I've only had to replace if my child loses it.

Insanely expensive piece of plastic - BTW there's only one piece NOT three
I bought this for a child with SPD, which is why I probably didn't balk at spending $11 for the item plus shipping. I did think there were three pieces, not just one. Ridiculous. So not worth it. My child does not even really like it.
