I have a larger Iris container I used for years for dog food. I repurposed when our dog passed away. Now we’ve added a small pup and needed a smaller container. This is perfect for the smaller 3.5# bag of dog food I now buy. It keeps the food fresh and dry with airtight top and is easy to scoop from.

WE USED THIS FOR FLOUR, RICE PASTA'S, SNACKS, ANYTHING BUT PET FOOD! (I GUESS I COULD THOUGH!) I PURCHASED A FEW, BUT 3 OF THE, WHAT, 8 I BOUGHT DIDN'T FIT CORRECTLY. I WAS GOING RETURN THOSE, BUT TO MY DISMAY, WASN'T ABLE TO DO IT BEFORE THEY GOT TOSSED TO A DIFFERENT DIMENSION.... BUT I WOULD BUY THESE AGAIN.

We use this to store dog food for our small dogs. It is made well and serves the purpose. It doesn't take up much room, which is what we were aiming for. To illustrate the size, it easily holds a 4 pound bag of raw dehydrated dog food, with room to spare.

It serves its purpose. My only criticisms would be the odd shape -- it takes up more counter space than it should. The bigger issue is the "airtight" seal -- I assumed it would be silicone, but it's just a very thin layer of cheap foam. Probably won't last more than a couple of years. But I guess you get what you pay for -- this was cheap, so I can't complain.

Perfect for our needs. Fits a 6 lb bag of food and keeps it fresh. Good weather is coming and the ants are starting to find their way in the house...among other critters. The last thing I need is an open bag of dog food bugs can get in or a bag mice can chew through. This little canister saved us from that. The snap clip has come apart from the lid once already but snapped right back in place and didnt break. Good quality canister overall.

These are a great size for cat food although the little thing that you clip on that airtight seals the container popped off day one. I can pop it back in to close and seal it but it happens everytime. Not worth the return especially when I can technically use it but thought I'd share.

Great for traveling with dog food. Previously purchased one from another retailer, but needed another when we got a second dog. When we take trips this helps keep their food safe from weather & spills. Original has held up well for four years.

Someone put a huge piece of packing tape on the lid and now its sticky. Otherwise good container, sturdy easy to close and open. We got ours for dog food when traveling.
