My male cat has reoccuring cystitis and had been incredibly ill due to it. I've given him these daily since and it keeps it under control and keeps him happy and chilled!Expensive in the start, but especially with the 300 tub, saves a lot in the long run - especially saving vet bills!

These work - simple as that. I came across them when a vet kindly recommended treating my cat who suffers with intersitial cystitis with these rather than any other costly treatments any other vets had given her over the years. Wow, these have saved me so many vet visits and so much money. I give one per day as a preventative measure and haven't had an episode with her since. All the other vets were giving her Metacam each time and charging me for the vet visit, without even telling me about this wonderful natural way of preventing any more distress or episodes for my poor cat - shame on them!! Also I've done my homework and these capsules in this amount (x300) are the cheapest per capsule (with the anti-anxiety element) that I could find. Beware of cheaper options, they don't have the anti-anxiety drug included - be sure to check the ingredients on any version you buy. There is another very good version with an anti-anxiety element but Feliway Cystease x300 was the cheapest at the time I bought.

My cat is very happy to continue to eat wet food with the Cystease powder mixed into it and it is very effective in preventing the return of Cystitis along with a special diet. The purpose of the Cystease tablets is to protect the lining of the bladder to prevent irritation. Thus far there has been no recurrence of the condition.Have also used these capsules with a previous cat who suffered from the same condition and it never came back again after use of these capsules.

My cat had bladder stones so as well as a change in diet we started giving her these and they definitely help!One capsule daily in a lik-e-licks or 2 every day for 2 weeks if she is having a flair up. Buying this larger pot is great value as it saves about £40 compared to buying the 30 capsule pots.

I very rarely review products but I feel like if this review can be useful to someone going through what we went through with our cat then it's worth the time. I have a young tom cat that suffers from idiopathic urethral spasm. Last Easter he went into retention and required a lengthy vets stay and multiple GA's for catheterisation - all of which cost £1500! Since then he's had regular episodes which we were managing with doses of meloxicam - which the vet was reluctant to prescribe as it can damage the kidneys. We started using this 3 months ago and, touch wood, his symptoms have settled. No meloxicam since Christmas. Long may it continue. So if it can help a cat at such a severe end of the spectrum I strongly encourage people to give it a go (also do follow the dosing instructions - initially I was only giving him one capsule a day, then realised because of his size he needed 2, things improved greatly once I increased the dose).

I bought these for my mums new stray cat who had urinary tract issues. The vet prescribed some other tablets to help but they just made him more angry even though they were designed to relax him. Since being on these tablets he’s so much more chill and has stopped weeing outside the tray. He has been on these since and I don’t think she will take him off them. Mum would 100% recommend these.

Our male cat is prone to urinary upsets but using these tablets means the attacks are very rare nowadays. Well worth trying for kitties with urinary tract issues.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought after researching cheaper alternatives for Cystease by different brand sold by Bet and recommend for long term use for cat prone to FLUTD (feline lover urinary track disease). Ingredients and proportions in dose are identical- and its 4 times cheaper than one from Vets (if You buy pack of 30, we have now suscribed to pack of 300 that lasts almost 10 months). Cat has not had serious flare since, and when he starts being unwell we double the dose from maintenance to treatment and it helps quite fast.Second cat that is quite scaredy also benefits from them in stressful times like fireworks in New Year.Worked better than felliway plug ins that neither of cats appreciates.Now whether its easy to use depends on the individuals ( both cat and owner ;) )I give them whole tablet down their mouth and follow it with treats. So now when they hear tablet rattle they run purring. You can also open the capsule and mix powder with food, if your cat doesn’t want to take tablet form.

There was no difference in my cat's condition.
