Very good product

Previously I purchased and read this writing team's "My Xbox 360" book, so I bought this current title on the PSV to show my support. Was I utterly disappointed by the content here. The coverage is very shallow, basically just taking Sony's online manual for the PS Vita and adding screenshots with step numbers. There're typos that contradict what's shown in the screenshots! Get this: you have to wait until Chapter 9 to read about playing games! The writing is difficult to follow because the authors don't write clearly. And on the last page (p.293), they tell you to find what you need to know about the PSV on Google! How irresponsible of the authors!!!For an example of shallow coverage, check out the chapter on settings, where many items (such as USB charging, auto-start and more) read little changed from the PSV's onscreen help language or Sony's online guide.In the end, I learned absolutely nothing new about my PS Vita, and the book doesn't have any valuable tips. By the way, the page count in the product details here is incorrect. The main text has 293 pages, starting with a blank page preceding a photo title page for Chapter 1.

Good basic book, collects all the information from various sources into one place for easy lookup. Nothing flashy or special, but it gets the job done.
