Nice and fluffy, I wouldn't call it velvet by any means, it's more of a short Plush material and the color is more like Periwinkle, purplish blue but very pale and subtle, it's too heavy for year round use, but I guess you could take your stuffer out and use it as a coverlet for your bed, price was excellent and the material is nice so for those reasons I recommend it, for 19.00 you can't go wrong!

First, it was vacuum sealed and didn’t smell AT ALL. You know when you get some cloth things and they smell funky? This didn’t, not at all. Second, it’s so freaking soft. And third and possibly my favorite thing about duvets particularly, they are designed to put a comforter inside them right? Ever thought to use them as a blanket and slide your body in them like a sleeping bag? Does your partner like to pull the blankets at night? Well they can’t! Slide into it like a damn blanket burrito and you’ll never get the blanket stolen again! It’s honestly a game changer if you get cold at night like I do. I promise you’ll love it.

I bought this so I could feel fancy with a fur type topper on my new bed and I am pleasantly surprised. Be warned that it sheds a TON! I opted to lay on top of the duvet and put a weighted blanket on top of me for the moment. It is a gorgeous set!

Not as fluffy as it looks in photos.Not as expected.Does have a zipper I guess u could put a blanket inside to make thicker to look like as described.

Got this to pair with silk sheets, i have a queen bed but purchased the king size and its perfect! Just the right size….keeps me warm at night but not overly hot. Def want in more colors!

This doona cover and pillow cases is so luxurious, we both love it and can’t wait for the weather to get cold so we can enjoy it even more
