So far so good
Despite the reservations of the price, we purchased these for my husband who needed some polarised sunglasses but, could decide between what brand. On arrival and opening the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised to see the semi hard shell pouch, with tiny screwdriver attached ; the pouch is identical to the O@kley one, not an issue as thats pretty robust as well. The glasses themselves are lightweight, well made and look far more expensive the the £25. My husband has used them all week and has noticed a considerable difference from his other driving sunglasses which arent polarised. So far they've got a thumbs up from my husband who's an HGV driver and is in and out of his cab often, so the light difference varies all the day for him.

Do NOT buy for "night vision" reasons, but every driver should wear polarised lenses
Oh Amazon, your ratings are SO WEIRD! These glasses score badly for night vision because they are SUNGLASSES. Do NOT buy these to help you see in the dark - they won't.But polarising sunglasses (and brown tint ones especially) are THE best thing for driving. Polarising removes glare - sunlight is polarised horizontally so when it reflects off a horizontal surface, vertical polarised filters will reduce reflect light almost entirely. Wet roads with sun on? Glare Be Gone! Shine off car windows? Glare Be Gone! Reflections on water? Glare Be Gone! Like magic.AND sunlight is what makes fog glare during the day - wear these when it's foggy and you'll see further and see more. Wear these when there is rain spray (during the day) and you'll see further and see more. The brown tint emphasises red colours so red lights (brake / rear lights, stop lights etc) all really "pop" at you, making them easier to notice and react to. You'll be safer using polarised sunglasses in your car - end of. And a tiny difference in hitting the brakes translates to stopping meters shorter than you would have which could save your life - or someone else's.Optically these are good plastic lenses - not as clear as good glass but as good as any plastic lenses I've seen. The frames are nicely made, light and feel strong, grip your head well without drama and the nose pieces are comfortable. Looking straight into the sun you will get some reflection on the inside of the lens but it's manageable - if you are bothered by it get a hat with a brim (or a sun visor on your cycle helmet). There's no special features to promote airflow so these might get hot during exercise but I have found that when there is an open bridge or other airflow it directs the air across your eyes, making them extra dry and more prone to getting dust in them. Won't be such an issue here...The presentation is good - test card is cute but not really necessary IMO (just look at the sky and tilt your head to see the effect of polarising, or any area of open water or a car bonnet) and there is a decent hard case and also an included soft case which doubles as a cleaning cloth, but not a good one if it's being kept in your pocket or bag most of the time. I think the idea is to use the soft bag inside the hard case but that's a big faff - get a microfibre lens cloth and keep that in the case instead.

Distorted lens
There is a distortion in one of the lenses. If I look at something and slowly turn my head a little to the left and right, the image distorts (like what you'd see in a fun house/carnival mirror)Of course I immediately tried other glasses just to be sure it wasn't my eyes, and phew, it wasn't 😋 It's a pity, as they look cool otherwise, and the case and etc are great - just can't wear em 😢 Woe is me

What a difference!
I hadn't realised how much road glare there was until I used these sunglasses for the first time. What a difference! They made images sharper, more defined and cut down glare from the road surface dramatically, especially in hot weather when you get that shimmering effect. Comfortable and stylish to wear - I'm too old to be cool! - and very lightweight. You have an adjustable option and a small complimentary screwdriver provided to ensure a perfect fit. I have an 800-mile round trip drive coming up next month and these will make both journeys much easier to handle, especially on the drive south when you face into the sun. Great solution to a common driving problem at an absolute bargain price. The glasses have a feel, features and appearance of a much more expensive product. Win-win!

Took them fishing - I don't even take my Mom fishing!!!
Saw these on the site and read the reviews. Thought yeah right! Anyhow, bought them and took them fishing next weekend when the sun eventually did decide to visit the UK. (Made a note in my diary.) Well, lets say that I was really pleased with the results. These glasses were good too. They cut the glare, let me keep my eyes open all day - no screwing them up - and enjoy the experience. End of the day I was driving with the sun setting and straight in my eyes. This was no issue. So yeah double thumbs up so far.

Really nice glasses
Really liked these and for the price they're excellent value for the money. My partner says they make me look like Tom Cruise so I've ordered another 100 pairs, hahaha. I've ordered a brown pair as the dark ones I've got are really dark, they're great for strong sunlight but too dark for a light sunny day and because I suffer from hayfever I need to wear sun glasses more than normal so hopefully the lighter ones will help also. I also like the fact that they're a metal composite frame and don't feel like cheep plastic alternatives.

These glasses are so disappointing.
These glasses are so disappointing. The lenses are distorting my vision and the refracted light that interferes with your view while driving makes them dangerous to wear. I'm also disappointed with the quality. They feel very cheap and the finish is not good. Tried to get used to them but when the problem appeared while driving they are now going to be replaced with another manufacture. Maybe good for a fisherman sat wearing a peak cap making use of the polarised lenses but for walking about, cycling and driving I would not.

It's most bang for your buck these are quality!
These are the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I brought these for driving as I'm a driver by profession. So the fact they are polarised makes them great as you don't need to keep taking them on and off. Quality build, strong glasses case plus a soft cloth bag to put them in. Also you get a mini screwdriver the glasses case have a handy carabiner clip to fasten them your bag.
