I got this for 2 reasons 1st- night time garden hunting, it’s a must do very fascinating (see pics)… 2nd- leaks detection for work(not tried this yet but should do the job nicely)Great product in all aspects

The only the thing that was a bit of a pain was having to get 3x batteries to put in and make the torch work. Apart from that, it's light weight, good ,the only thing I want weighing my hands down are jewels. It has a big enough range that it shows up a reasonable amount of area. It does show up wee, really well. It confirmed it was where I had thought. So all good. Then I though I wonder what else I can shine it on and went into my kitchen, which I thought was reasonably clean, and for the most it was, but the kettle handle was a bit of a shocker, so now I know that's all sorted. This was also a very reasonable price. Very handy if you want to spot animal wee and invisible filth in unexpected places. My toilets were spotless but it was nice to confirm with the light.

Does the job it's intended for very well - detecting where the cat has peed!

The media could not be loaded. It works. Shows where my cat has puked on the carpet, even that we cleaned it. It shows stains on the toilet too. It shows a lot of stains on the carpet in the bedroom but I don't wanna know what from! Thankfully bedding is freshly changed so nothing there!I bought it for the UV dye in car AC which this light shows as well (you have to look in the dark of course). Generally it feels solid, it's made out of metal and it's quite heavy for the size. Hopefully it will be at durable as it feels and look like but for that only time will tell.

I'm a Newbie to Rockhounding. I thought this UV torch would be appropriate for me to seeking fluorescent rocks. It 'sort of' does a 'reasonable' job, but, despite the number of LEDs you still need to bend very low for it to be effective. It casts a purple tint on the rocks. The beam is short. If you are seriously rockhounding, I would definitely NOT buy this model. There are better ones on the market (I replaced it with the UV Beast - much more expensive, but very much better).
