.
Amazing light overall. Wish it had a separate button for the red light. Preserving night vision is difficult when you have to cycle through spot + flood to get to the red light. But I didn't buy it for low light situations. Medium flood mode is perfect working on things. Not over powering but still very bright. High flood isn't great for close up work. Maybe in the daytime under the truck would be good. Haven't done a lot with the spot light but the 2 pictures are high flood + spot. Light ends at about 100yds. Measured with google earth... the hand gestures do work well.... but to be honest you get this blinding flash in your face when you swipe your hand. I use 1 or 2 fingers and just shut my eyes for that half second. But it does work even with quick swipes so if your hesitant about it, remember your buying quality..

Great light very comfortable and bright , charge also lasts a long time
Light has an auto dimming feature it was different at first but once use to it I would want to go back , very comfortable and reliable , use them hunting and under house working battery last a long time as well.

Great for the trades
Great headlight for the trades the most usual headlight you see around the job sites is a bulky Milwaukee so I thought I would try something more compact and I hit the jackpot with this headlight works great on my hard hat even though I had to get hard hat clips separately which aren't very expensive but as a pipe fitter the brightness is perfect and I only have to charge it once a week if that. This headlamp has definitely come in handy and even though I hardly find myself using the highest setting it does get quite hot when using it so beware for that other than that this was a great purchase and everyday tool at the job site and the best part I'm not walking around looking like a miner. ⛏️

Great product, but not for confined spaces
I got this because I work in filthy areas like wastewater treatment plants, so I wanted to minimize my hands touching my helmet and head. It does just that. Waving to turn the brightness up and down works excellently—unfortunately, the brightness changes unintentionally if I pass by a tight area or a beam. I worked in my attic and had the same issue with the trusses.

Freaking awesome!
What I love the most so far is the flood lighting aspect and the ability to adjust brightness with just the wave of your hand.....especially nice when wearing gloves. The spot function illuminates the night at a rediculous distance with very little beam spread. The night vision saver (red light) is pretty cool too! Typically use for dog walks lasting at least 60 minutes and have had no decrease in performance while switching frequently between modes and brightness levels. Battery life seems good in that I will charge once a week regardless. The battery pack on the back part of the headband has small red leds that flash for power level and safety from behind.I would buy again for sure.

Bright but cumbersome and finicky
I own roughly 10 other Olight flashlights and they are great, but this one was not up to my expectations and had to be returned. There's two main problems:* The "wave" to change settings function is very finicky and there's apparently no way to disable it. So if you work up close or have long hair, it'll randomly change settings on you, perhaps blinding you in the process.* The rear battery and wire clip are awkward and cumbersome, and the battery pack position shifts every time you take it on-and-off, so every time I put it on, I had to adjust it to keep it tight and keep the battery pack 180 degrees opposite the light. As I tend to take my headlamp on-and-off while working on things, this wastes a lot of time.

The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand
Going hunting this weekend so i will edit this laterRead the manual, most of the problems people are having with the sensor are explained in the users manual. While testing this thing at night, i could see with ease. It is pretty lightweight but it does sit awkwardly and id like the option to be able to pivot the light up or down without having to move my head in that direction, but otherwise it works wonderfully.Edit: prolonged use makes the battery pretty hot. And it will loose charge if you leave it in your bag, so make sure to charge it the night before leaving to hunt

Super bright and long battery life
Easy to recharge, brightest level is super bright, battery life seems good. I bought this to help with my evening outdoor chores, I have a hobby farm and it's proven to be reliable.

Love This Head Torch
I got this as I often have jobs in the dark and holding a torch is a pain. I found this as an import from the US and ordered it anyway as I had read good things about it. It eventually arrived and I am more than happy with it. The light is very bright and the hand gestures seem to work well so far. The red LED is super bright which is great as I use this often rather than the bright white.
