A bit expensive but very comfortable with almost nil break in period. My usual size fitted perfect for me.

bought these to fit my orthotics, great shoes, very comfortable. It does have breathable top, so not good during the rain or snow.

I liked the first pair so much I bought two more while they're still available.I like how light and responsive they are while still having good cushioning and lasting a long time even for a 190lb runner. I wear these tied loosely for road running and cinch them up tighter for trails. No blisters or problems either way.An update - I'm still rotating two pairs of these - I'm down to 177 lbs. I'm running around 30-35 miles per week the last 4 months. I recently bought a pair of heavy cushioned Topo distance trainers which feel cushier to walk in, but after running in the Topos for 4 runs, then going back to the Freedom 4s, I'm still amazed at how cushioned the Freedom 4s are despite their low stack height and light weight. They feel every bit as cushy and comfy as the hefty, thicker Topos, and much more nimble. Just great shoes.

Lots of reviews state this is not a true running shoe, more of a gym shoe, I disagree, these shoes are great for anything up to a half marathon, 26 is probably pushing it. They are more of a minimal shoe by todays standards but still offer plenty of protection and comfort. Love that they are a 4mm drop and toe box is spacious. Upper is fantastic on these, really all saucony and they do take a long run or two to break in but once they soften up a little they're great running shoes.
