Cotton Broadcloth Black, Fabric by the Yard

Met my expectations
This was listed as black, cotton broadcloth. Because of the price I expected it to be fairly light weight, and it was. I used this fabric to make curtains for a college student's room and lined them in a moderately light-weight, white muslin fabric for stability and to protect them from sun damage (though there is a Venetian blind in the window). I quilted some of the fabric and embroidered it with her sorority's logo to cover the back and seat of her desk chair. Because of the quilting and firm batting, I expect this to work well for her. These items only have to last two years, so the quality was fine for these two projects. While I would not recommend this for garment construction, I would suggest using it with lining for most craft or home dec projects. Additionally, it would probably be suitable for a child's witch or vampire costume for Halloween. In short, it was as advertised and worked well for my needs.

Nice, lightweight cotton material for masks.
Perfect, light weight material for mask making, which is important when you have 3 layers of fabric against your face. It's hard to tell how lightweight a fabric is online, but was very happy when I received this material. I ordered this material twice. 2 yds ea. time.

Good
Good fabric. It's red and not see through similar to cotton fabric from Joann's but a bit thicker

Not the texture I originally thought it would be
Not the texture I thought it would be, still worked for what I needed it for. Doesnt hold staining colors well.

Good material for the price!
Kind of thin, but arrived on time undamaged! Nice thin, no stretch, cotton material.

A bit stiff
I ordered this to make squares for a quilt. The material is a little stiff, not as soft as I would like for a quilt.

Bought and paid for cotton, was sent polyester
I have been making covid masks for our community. I needed more cotton fabric (per CDC guidelines), so I ordered this fabric that was advertised as Cotton. I made and gave away many, many masks to those in our community, using decorative fabric that I had already bought, along with the fabric that was supposed to be cotton. Each mask from start to finish took about two hours. I contacted this company after realizing it was polyester (when I ironed it, it melted, shrunk and the edges curled on a cotton setting). They merely offered a refund, which I didn't think was appropriate since I had so much of my time and materials invested in each mask. They've since offered nothing, so I tried to apply for the refund, but it now says the window for return is closed. Plus, now I see they have lowered the price for this item in their current listings.
