Works very well, but the packaging they send it in sucks because it rips through the bag and if the little screws get loose it's like a razor knife cutting it out and all the piece could spill out that's why I had a problem with the first one that was shipped to me it was missing parts but once I got the whole damn thing when they sent me a replacement with no questions asked I'll say that's why it has a score it does just don't want them to keep wasting their money because they need something a little bit stronger for shipping purposes.But overall it works really good for tile work flooring many applications I even use it in my woodshop

I used this to cut the radius and weird angles in concrete pavers I installed. The only issue I had was that sometimes the screws would loosen and it would change the template so I would have to double and triple check. but it made a perfect pattern and made it a one step process.

It’s pretty simple and helpful tool.

The ruled pieces are made of 1/16 thick aluminum. The screws are steel and the knobs are heavy plastic. They are substantial enough to tighten down adequately. The desired profile can be captured and kept well enough to transfer it to your medium. You do need to be careful not to jerk the tool around too much or the profile may deform. The pieces came completely separated and stuffed into a plastic bag and must be assembled after opening. I had several pieces fall out when the bag was opened. Even though I found all of the pieces that fell out of the bag, the tool was still missing a screw and a plastic knob. I would easily have given the profile tool five stars had it been packaged better and included all of the pieces. If the seller had used more care I would be very happy with this product. If the seller contacts me and makes an effort to rectify the deficiencies I will let you know.

The media could not be loaded. This product isn’t functional. It’s intended to lock into position so you can transfer a measurement from one place to another. Even when tightening down the finger nuts as tight as I can, by hand and easily loosen themselves the moment you pick up the tool. The slightest change completely loses the location that you were trying to transfer.

the problem with this tool is the thumb screws, they can not be tightened nearly enough to keep the shape needed, it stays floppy
