Good little book - useful as a reference and quick to use to check what these little guys/gals can eat

Not particularly well written…

First Snail Book I've actually read rather than use the internet to search for info.This book covers quite a vast range of different topics. I mainly wanted to see it for best setups and food. But I learnt a lot more than this.It is a very informative detailed book.I am happy to have got this, and shall use it for future references in GAL Snail keeping.A great read for anyone starting off or wanting expand their knowledge.The pictures are real pictures in the book of snails, although not many, but this doesn't take away from the book.Personally I'd recommend this book for anyone 13+ because of the vast information, making it harder to read for children. But it would be great to see this same author do a children's version!Overall I highly recommend this read.

I found this book easy to read and really useful. It gives great insight into the species, their need for the right environment and how to achieve this, dietary needs and recommended foods and information about illnesses/issues that can arise. A great book to start with.

A really informative and reassuring read for new and experienced keepers of GALS. Thinking now about getting my wee buddy Bolt another friend as they don't like living alone and a larger enclosure. I will keep this book to hand for the future too for any worries I have about my GALS health or habitat.

This is a well written book, with plenty of understandable information for the novice Giant African Land Snail owner. Easy to read with lovely photos. Very informative and a must for New Owners.

I actually really enjoyed reading this book for beginners.I've got 4 GALS myself so any help is always appreciated, so by reading this I found some really good information! And some stuff I didn't even know!

Really helpful book! Lots of information to help a beginner like myself out. I now know a lot more about their health, diet, habitat and more.

The book is written for adults, but in very simple language. When technical terms are used,they are also explained. I didn't have to do any extra googling, the information is in the text.Not a book for small children. Rather a book for adults and teenagers. I liked it a lot.

The content of this book is correct and precise. I think it is good that high standards are set here. Many animals are kept under bad conditions, have too little space, etc. That is why it is good that a book like this provides the right information.

Wonderful book. A lot of information, a few pictures, a few lists, all the importantinformation I need. I can recommend the book and I think even slightly older children canread and understand it.
