Decent scans without having to pay $1000s
When I received the scanner, the turntable was not working. They were very friendly and helpful with addressing this issue. After receiving the replacement turntable, I was able to get some good results with it.1) The sample model they included for scanning came out perfect first try. I scanned it in 3 orientations in one session (it automatically rotated earlier scans to align with latest scan). After export it rendered well in other 3d viewers.I really like the fact they included a known to work model to get you started. Another scanner I had tried did not include such a model. It gives you a baseline to let you know the scanner is working and can scan successfully. Then when you have issues with another model, you can have some confidence that you just have to figure out what it is about that model that needs to be accommodated.2) Semi-glossy color plastic miniature. Scanned in 2 orientations in one session. This scanned model has some very minor defects that would need to be touched up in a 3d editor to be considered a finished product. (I am of the expectation that most scans from any consumer grade scanner will require some touch up)3) A broken model train part. The cow catcher with many parallel sections. The scanner worked surprisingly well for what I expected with the complex geometry. But the automatic rotation for subsequent scans in a single session failed miserably. What I did to get around that was single scan and export of each orientation. then I manually marked joining positions to merge them in the "ModelProcessTool" (included with version 3 of their software - missing from the version 4 beta, so I reverted to 3). To 3d print the replacement part, this image will require some moderate touch up (and modification for the missing broken piece). Before I received the replacement turntable, I attempted to do some hand scanning. I did not have much success with this. Hand scanning is not my primary intended use for the scanner, so I did not invest a lot of effort into figuring it out. As such, the following is not intended to be taken negatively. Just some information from my experience so you know what to expect. The hand scans I tried were of 2 types.1) My left hand. The results I got were probably due to subtle finger movements that occurred as I tried to move the camera and my hand to capture every angle. I'm fairly confident this would have worked better if I had someone else to operate the camera while I remained motionless.2) Inanimate objects. I tried to select objects that would not need the tracking markers. From the scanned results, I believe most of the issues I encountered were due to not using them.Without the markers, the camera seemed to get lost when scanning along areas that did not vary greatly. This would cause smears or jumps in position of the scanned frame. One of the objects was a light colored wood. The camera was not able to track it by the wood grain.

Terrible instructions
I purchased this scanner in the hopes it would work to scan some machinery and then be able to output a blueprint. The instructions on how to use this are barely anything. The scanner didn't do a decent scan, and the turntable that comes with it didn't work. I am returning it and getting my money back. piece of junk. Don't waste your money. There are much better options out there. I downloaded one that uses my phone's lidar, and it works very good.

The support is not good, 2 business days? Machines locks up when homed.
The product looks good, but you can't scan objects smaller than 3". Also, the product can't scan square or rectangular parts 360 degrees, I have had no success doing it. For larger things, it's okay, resolution is not great only .6mm accuracy if that. One of the most important things is the lack of phone support which is none, even though the website says there is. Also, there's is POP 2, don't buy the POP, you should get the POP 2, it's more accurate.

DOES NOT WORK WITH IPHONE 13 pro max
The customer service was bad. BUT will say the 3d scanning on Mac is unbeatable. Still happy with the product just annoyed that it does not work on iPhone! I work In IT so I know what I am doing when it comes to this type of stuff… can say without a doubt that IPhone 13 Pro Max is not supported even after they claimed it worked on their units. Buyer beware! Overall product does work very nicely on MacOS

Mac version is in beta and they know it doesn't work. Functionally useless.
My boss bought this scanner because most of the computers in the building are Macs and this boasts a Mac app. Lies. The Mac app doesn't work. It's a beta version and all I can do is look at the options. The moment I try to scan it crashes every time as soon as I hit the scan button. This does not work with Mac and their message board confirms it. "Please be patient with us" doesn't fly when the program is totally useless and you sold the device with the promise of working with Mac. This also doesn't work with phones the way it promises. This product is smoke and mirrors and riddled with confusing bad English that makes the error messages functionally useless. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Has not worked for anything practical
If I knew how this product was going to perform I would not have purchased it. I have attempted to use it on 4 different days with the last 2 times being after contacting tech support and watching the video they sent me the link for. If you want to do anything practical with this be ready for disappointment. I had partial success with the small model that was included with the product and with a similarly sized item I had. Neither was anywhere near the promised resolution per the product description and both took multiple attempts to finally get a scan. Usually you end up with something like FoOglies from Spy Kids except it is just a shell on the parts where tracking was lost. Based on my experience so far I consider this a waste of money.
