Great Value and Good Quality!
For about 1/3 of the price of most belay glasses, you can't beat these! They're not ultralight or anything, but they're not bulky, AND they fit snugly right over my sunglasses, just as advertised. I could look down and see in front of me if I was talking to someone on the ground, but could easily keep an eye on my climber as well. And going back and forth didn't give me a headache or mess with my balance or anything like some other people have found. Obviously if you're not used to belay glasses, it takes a bit of getting used to, but a couple uses and it becomes second nature. The case has kept them scratch-free and unbroken, but it would be nice if they came with a neck strap. Nothing you can't find at Walmart or Target for a couple bucks though, so no biggie!

But these worked great to keep a level head while belaying
For starters I've used these for one indoor climb so I may adjust the review as things change. But these worked great to keep a level head while belaying, in lead (don't see why TR would be different). Unlike other inexpensive models which have a pretty silly design of blocking out the front face besides the prisms, these give you some degree of peripheral vision which allows for less disorientation especially on the beginning of the climb where you are going to want to look straight forward. These things come with a carrying case, which is great, and I would recommend putting a lens wipe/towel in with that case. The only difference I could tell between these and the more expensive 70-90 dollar range glasses is the plastic frame, which feels sturdy so far in my use.As with other belay goggles, if you are paying attention to your climber, you won't be able to see someone who comes up beside you and gets chatty, at least these glasses give you a reason to not turn and face the chatty cathy.Beware, my climbing buddy has glasses he wears while climbing and belaying and he said these didn't fit great over the glasses, but others may find they fit ok, who knows.Do not buy horizontal lazy TV glasses and expect them to be belay glasses!!!! Pretty sure those shoot your vision downwards.Overall great beginning to intermediate level belay glasses, would recommend these before getting an expensive brand, Save your neck while belaying, also make belaying more fun (just kidding its always fun, right?)

Works great!
I didn't want to spend $65 for metolius brand belay glasses so I got these instead and they are exactly what I needed. My only complaint is the case that comes with them is not very durable and also doesn't open easily with one hand, so if I forget to put them on before I start belaying I just have to go without.

Best glasses
Absolutely amazing glasses for the money. I admit these are my first pair but they hold up well and are way less than bigger brand names. They have a grippy material that seems like it may wear out over time. For now they are very grippy and have lasted at least a year, when stored in case when not climbing. Pro-tip: I can wear them with my sunglasses and Rx glasses.

Good Value
Can't beat the price on these. they work great. like someone else said, the field of view is a bit small, but i dont mind and honestly dont have anything to compare it against. for $14 instead of $60+ i would highly recommend them.

What more could you ask for?
Belayer's neck is a common malady experienced by climbers from looking up for extended periods of time. After a recent sport climbing trip and belaying multiple hangdog climbs, and feeling sore for two days afterward - I decided that I needed to get a pair of belay glasses. For the most part you can find low budget options for belay glasses, but they tend to be a bit clunkier and will block out your peripheral vision except for your view of your climber, but not these! at a third of the cost of the closest alternative (Y&Y Plasfun glasses, $60), you can pick up a pair of these! Sure you won't get crazy colors, but what you will get is a pair of low profile belay glasses with a sturdy frame and a case to go with it.I haven't gotten a chance to use these at the crag, but my initial impressions are very good. the build quality feels great, and the hinges don't feel sloppy or weak. My initial impressions of the clarity of the prisms is excellent, especially for the price. I would also highly recommend grabbing a microfiber cleaning cloth and stuffing it in the case to keep the prisms clear and scratch free.

My 2nd purchase and quality isn’t as good
The very first time I bought this product, it worked great except for the part that the lens kept popping off. I lasted a few years until the lens hit the ground and broke. Ended ordering from the same seller but I this time the product is very poor quality compared to the 1st purchase. I can’t see clearly with them on and would get dizzy. The zipper on the case broke the 2nd day I used it.

Look no further
I have tried those cheap belay glasses i bought from China for about $4 (Epic Peak also sells it: Epic Peak Climbing Belaying Glasses Goggles With Epic Peak Decal ), they served the very basic function of allowing me to see the climber without straining my neck. However, it completely blocks out my peripheral vision, which is a big problem especially when belaying outdoors or on uneven grounds. I did consider Y&Y, but they are just too expensive, so i decided to give this a shot. It is way smaller and lighter than the China ones, but most importantly, i'm able to see my surroundings while belaying. Looks exactly like the Y&Y Plasfun but only at a fraction of the price. So far I have used it for 3 or 4 sessions of indoor climbing, even dropped it from about 10 or 12 feet high, but it is still holding up fine. I would highly recommend this.

Pretty Decent, Happy Overall
The field of view is rather narrow compared to other belay glasses I've tried. This is both good and bad - its nice because you can quickly see around you without touching the glasses, but you don't see as much of the climber as you might like, although it is still very usable. It kind of made me a little dizzy too, which I didn't notice with other belay glasses (maybe due to the narrow field of view?). I'm hoping I will get accustomed to the bit of dizziness caused by the glasses, maybe I will update this if that changes. It comes with neck band, which is nice, but it is not super secure, just elastic. This has pros and cons as well - you can easily take them off without having to take your helmet off, but I'm afraid they will be dropped because of this. The nose gap is tight and kind of flexes, which allows you to move the glasses up and down the bridge of your nose as your climber gets higher, instead of moving your neck, which is super nice and a very smart design. The nose gap also has a little tab for easily pulling them off your face in a flash, which I really like. The case it comes with is nice looking and solid.
