It makes mini waffles, just like you'd expect. There are two reasons I gave it four stars instead of five. First, it doesn't seem to get the waffles golden brown regardless of how long you leave them cooking. Instead, they come out lighter than I like. Second, the description stated that the power consumption is around 370W but I found 550W printed on the device nameplate when I unboxed it. I ran it through a power meter and found that it pulls around 510W when the light is on. This is important to me because I plan on using this in my small camper that has a 550W inverter. It should still work, but it's closer to the limit than I expected based on the item description.
