I've bought 2 of these. The first for myself, the second for a friend as a gift. We both metal detect as a hobby. I've had several other small digging knives or spades and they don't hold a candle to my Hori Hori. It's solid and makes short work of popping plugs to unbury my treasures. When other digging tools break, this one steps up and does the job. If anything ever happened to mine or I lost it, I'd get a 3rd one without hesitation.
