Works great and stout
I had actually though I'd throw a Harbor Freight winch on the old Cherokee because I didn't think I'd get much use out of it anyway. I just needed to fill the winch hole in my Smittybilt bumper more than anything. At the time of install I did put on the synthetic rope from Harbor freight and also their quick release hook. Therefore, the roller fairlead that came with my Smittybilt winch had to be replaced with this style. So far I've used it to pull my 12'x16' storage building(!) to it's new spot and pulled my son-in-law's Dodge 2500 hooked to a large travel trailer up out of his muddy yard. This is a very nice looking fairlead and works fine.

Killer winch
Love it minus one detail. Every now and then the relay gets stuck so a tap on the controller or module will bring it back to life Otherwise. It pulls like you wouldn’t believe I slapped it in my wrangler and I pull jeeps, full size trucks and big ass rocks, and trees out all the time. I think I’ve used it to save myself once in the year I’ve had it. Would buy again. But I’d get one with synthetic rope.

Nice and smooth when pulling, it does what the manufacturer says it can do and more.

You will not be disappointed
Looks beautiful! Replaces the roller setup that came with the winch. I expected to have to polish it but the finish is beautiful, bolts are polished. Great attention to detail. I was extremely pleased
