Afghanistan 1:1,000,000 Travel Map (International Travel Maps)

Since I gave my earlier map to a local Afghan family we are helping to sponsor, I needed a replacement. Over the past decades, I have followed events in Afghanistan, so this map fits the bill.

I wish I had known it was half on one side and half on the other. I had thought about laminating and hanging on the wall but it won't work for that. Otherwise, appears to be a decent working map.

Nice map, but it would be nice to have the entire country on one side. Flipping it back and forth is not what I had in mind unfortunately.

I am based in Kabul and wanted a map to put on the wall. The ad in no way indicated that it split the country in two, with half on each side. Not very helpful

I purchased this map to follow Alexander the Great's travels as shown in Robin Lane Fox's biography. Also, to follow Winston Churchill's war experiences on India's western frontier as described in his "The Malakand Field Force". That is an excellent read and so prescient of what is being expirenced there even today.

This map has a tremendous amount of detail. Cities, roads and topography are well illustrated and marked. Much better than most Afghan maps I've found elsewhere.

Muy bueno. Detallado, lo único malo es que no es a prueba de agua como otros mapas de la misma marca que he comprado. Pero en general todo bien.
