Orthopedic Short Air Orthopedic Walking Boot (Small)

I received the boot 5 days after fracturing 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsals. As soon as I put it on, my foot felt better. Much more comfortably stabilized. The inflatable bladder really helps. And for the first time I could put a little weight on it without pain. I'd been using a different boot and a knee scooter to get around. The Orthtronix boot allowed me to switch to a cane on day 6 for short distances. I am so relieved!

I tried it on right away. I did fumble for a few minutes the first time trying it on, but once I figured it out (following the instructions), I had no problems whatsoever.The boot is quite comfortable, and has a nice rocking soul for ease of movement. It didn't slip or become loose, either. In fact, it fit so well I never even needed to use the extra pads that came with it.

Seemed OK for a while, but after a couple of weeks, the padding in footbed was not enough. I had to add an insole for comfort. Also, I ordered a small, as I wear a size 7 shoe, but it was too big around- the velcro straps were too long and difficult to tighten enough

Purchased this boot due to an ankle fracture + ligament sprain. It’s really lightweight which is amazing! It also comes with some extra pads to line where you need to in case the boot is too loose. I’m a 8 Women’s and bought the size small. It was a little bit big because I had to tighten it all the way but it doesn’t bother me. It does squeak a little while you’re walking so beware. I highly suggest putting a bad right where the “tongue” is because this does have an air pump and you can feel it on the inside. Without the extra padding, the pump pushes on the top of my ankle area and hurts after walking for more than 10 min.

I purchased this boot for my wife after she had a stroke. Physical therapy had given her use of her leg again but her ankle was still weak and constantly would roll on the side. This boot has done a excellent job of securing her ankle from injury and has given her mor confidence when walking and the smaller size makes it much easier for her to walk with. It has been a good purchase and is doing exactly what I had hoped it would.
