Ok, honestly, I can't speak to the overall sturdiness & durability, as I've only been using these for a couple months, but I'll update my review if something should go awry.For now, I've used these buckles on my headlamp's elastic strap because trying to find a replacement that would fit was otherwise impossible. No, really. Anyway, the nice thing about these buckles is that I can cut a strap and feed it into the ends of the buckles, thereby allowing me to adjust from either side of my strap. Great, simple, and I don't have to investigate into what headlamp is now the latest and greatest, and I don't have to invest more of my hard-earned money.I also used this on a sturdier webbing on a pack, and the pack sighed and cheered for not being tossed away. Not really. But I did.Yeah, simple as that so far, and I still have a couple sets of buckles left to share or use to help keep my beloved items in use.

Perfect size to replace buckle that prematurely broke after just a couple years on my daughter’s Lazer helmet. Of course the OEM buckle is backordered everywhere. So this saved the day!This buckle fits securely, seems solid, was easy to install. No-waste packaging, and I still have a couple extras. So satisfying to be able to repair usable items. Recommended!

Not much to say. Item was as advertised. Arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. Quality was good. I like that these are "dual adjustable" meaning you can shorten the straps on both sides to get a perfect fit (i.e., the buckle ends up in the middle when each end is connected.

SGH Pro Quick Side Release Buckles 0.75" Wide Dual Adjustable Clips Snaps are not compatible with LL Bean Backpack Buckles of same size. Straps will not fit inside! To use the Buckles would require sewing different straps on which may cost more than buying a new backpack (welcome to America).Also purchased male end to female LL Bean end is very very tight in a very very bad way. Thus, do not purchase for replacing broken LL Bean Buckles! Or you will be angry and write a review!

This worked for its purpose — fixing bike helmets that had had broken or missing clasps. Easy to use.
