With the Stanley One Position 10-199 Fixed Blade Utility Knife more than half of the blades cutting edge is exposed. That's a problem when a dull blade is flipped. The center of the blades cutting edge is reused so it's dull at the handle where most cuts are made.With the Stanley Two Position 10-299 Fixed Blade Utility Knife less than half of the blades cutting edge is exposed. That's a problem when a dull blade is flipped. One third of the blades center cutting edge is unused and wasted.With the Stanley One Position 10-705 Fixed Blade Utility Knife the blades cutting edge is perfectly split. There's NO PROBLEM when a dull blade is flipped. You Get Full Use Of Every Blades Entire Cutting Edge. I also like the easy open blade change thumb screw on this Ergonomic highly visible yellow all metal Die-Cast Aluminum utility knife.
