I broke one of the propeller guards that came with the drone on my first use. After I started using this, it has hit walls and fallen from 15+ feet many times and has been completely unharmed! I recommend this product 100 times over! You’re actually crazy NOT to have it!

I was searching for random Tello accessories when I came across this cool prop cage. Pretty much had to get it just because of the design.When I first picked it up I was extremely surprised at how light it was. Unfortunately I do not have a scale capable of weighing it, but it seems to be only marginally heavier than the original prop guards. It snaps on the same way the originals do, so attaching it is pretty easy. I would suggest being cautious when attaching the cage since the plastic is very thin; I almost bent the frame permanently while trying to attach it. It's sturdy once installed, and it has a small peg with a rubber foot that rests on top of the drone's shell. Lightly tossing it around in my hands I can tell that the cage is actually strong enough to protect the whole drone from a moderate fall, which is good if you plan on using it outside. Speaking of, if you are flying in any wind, the drone will definitely be carried away since the cage adds more surface area. This cage is much more useful indoors to prevent the drone from being caught on things or damaging them.The only real con I have for this cage is that it is a little fragile. While I see it being strong enough to protect the drone from a fall, I do not see it being strong enough to not get bent while in a case or a bag, at least not in mine. The extra surface area the cage adds to the drone could also be a con, but since the Tello is meant to be used in a zero-wind environment I don't really find it much of an issue.Overall, I think this is a very good product and useful if you want full protection for your Tello for flying indoors or outside with no wind. It's strong enough to protect the drone but light enough to not hinder it's performance, and of course it looks pretty cool.

Fits well, sturdy. I've fit the wall a few times as I'm still learning to control my little drone and it does well to protect it. I woukd recommend the flying cage

This prop guard works exceedingly well. There are pretty much no drawbacks, save for the fact that there is a little more wobble on frontward and backward flips, but since flips are really just a gimmick on the Tello, that shouldn't be taken into consideration.I can now confidently fly my Tello on FAST mode in my school's drone lab without fear of losing propellers since the stock prop guards did almost nothing to protect a propeller flying up and spinning away in the case of a high-impact crash. This prop guard is very lightweight and has a thin "netting" on its top to protect from that very case.
