This sucks 32 days in and it won’t hold a charge. Amazon return window closed. The process to get in touch with company is ridiculous.#ohmygoodness, what a perfect device for my family. We’ve only used it in our pool, so far. Can’t wait to go out to a cove at Lake Mead. My 7yr old grand son thinks it’s, ”Amazing”. Great bonding tool and I’ve seen hisbreath control improve greatly, he’s a new swimmer this summer. I highly recommend this device, so far we all love it. I think you will too!Six weeks later, I'm wondering about the discoloration of the connection to the Magnetic charging pod, its discolored and I would like some feed back on taking care of this occurrence. I don't want to have charging problems.**** New Rant: Replacement CellBee used 2X this 2921 Summer has discolored diodes. I've called Amazon and am sending this back. Zero customer service, no call backs or replies and from the looks of other reviewers they are having the same issue. Sad really......

First of all, it is a great unit when it works. Pulls me pretty hard (220lb) but it is not fast, but is about right for snorkeling. For me I would guess about 2mph maybe a little less, but for my 50lb grandson probably at least twice as fast if not more. Battery life at low speed was what they said it would be, and at high speed it may be about what they said it would. We have had it for 8 months, not used for about 5 of those months. This spring we noticed the unit would just stop working for a while (no lights) then 10 or 20 min later it would start working again. This got worse over the last week or so, until it finally stopped working altogether and for the last week has been completely dead.The charger sometimes would show red for a little while when plugged in and then go green eventually, but now just stays green. It still looks brand new, only used about 20 times in fresh water, always cleaned, dried, charged and stored in the box it came in. I did not get the extended warrantee when I bought it (big mistake), because cellbee does not respond to anything, and I cannot find any mention of a warrantee on their website or on amazon. all the social media links on their website except facebook go back to their site. I will tried messaging them on face book, they say they will respond in a day, but have not heard anything. If I dont hear from them soon I will assume there is no warrantee. Then short of throwing it out, I think I will cut it open to see what happened. I am guessing water gets into the unit, there are a few others on here with similar problems.update: After not getting any response from cellbee, I did open up the unit by removing 12 screws, seperating the control unit from the base with motors. It is sealed, I used a dremel with a saw blade to cut it open and gain access to the battery and control compartment. I discovered two problems, On the charging circuit a part was blown up, but the charging circuit is working and even though the unit was dead the battery was fully charged. The second is water got into the control unit, some of the tape inside was wet when I opened it even though it had not been in the water for almost 2 weeks. I examined it with a magnifier and found 3 areas where faulty glue sealing created 3 small openings where water got in. (attached pictures) The water also corroded the circuit board which was wet. I think when the control unit is pushed into the base a somewhat seal is formed which helps keep the water out when the cellbee is right side up. but when not water can get to the faulty areas and a very slow leak is formed. I cleaned it all up, put it back together and it works again. I will put a video on you tube how I fixed it called "dead cellbee repaired" to show what I did.

I bought this for my 7 yr old grandson for his birthday and he just loves it! It's not heavy, its perfect size, even my 2 yr old grandson uses it. I only wish it had a longer battery life before having to charge again. I have since ordered 2 more! We all can use it,adults and children, well worth the price. The package was delivered on time and everything was in excellent condition. I also like the storage case to store it for the winter. Very nicely packed. I did take buy the extended warranty package for all of them. The perfect gift! Thank you Cellbee!!!

The scooters were purchased for Christmas. They have been recharged about six times... the chargers no longer work , one doesn't charge and the other says the device is fully charged but it is not. The scooters are used in a pool and rinsed off. The charging contacts are spring loaded on the charger side and no longer work properly. This is not a quality item... we now have a pair of yellow plastic bricks that cost 100's of dollars....avoid

This is a great product when it works. I have purchased three of them but here’s the problem. The device has a smart charger that is not smart. After a few uses the charger believes the battery to be full although it is not. As it sees the battery as full it will not flow the electricity so you have a dead battery and a charger that will not charge it.When it occurred the first time I attempted to contact the seller. Both email addresses listed by the seller were not valid. I contacted Amazon who set me a whole new unit but I just needed a charger that worked. Two of the four experienced the same charger issue.Seems the seller should be better off responding to their customers and dealing with the defective charger units but they choose to ignore their customers and evidently the charger issue.5 stars for the sea scooter, 1 star for the charger and zero stars for customer service.

Maybe I got a defective unit but this product was just not up to production standards. The first day it seem like it worked close to the 45 minutes of running time that is advertised. After that even with the self cleaning procedure and fresh water rinsing never came back to full performance giving us less that 5 minutes of working time every day after that.It was a disappointment. I returned the product.

Instructions for charging a bit vague. Otherwise worked and ran well, just was a bit slower than expected. Solidly made though, and easy to use.

This product is a ton of fun for everyone in our home. The string to my sons shorts got caught in the propeller so make sure all strings are tied tight (and hair for that matter). The charging area rusts after being in the water but so far has not affected the batteries ability to hold a charge so far.
