Cheap Orion clone
I bought this with the idea that it would be competitive with Orion, likely made by the same Synta mfg in China. The optics are decent, I'll give it that. However,1) you'll immediately notice that both the lens caps are thn rubber not plastic and they are easy enough to remove but more difficult to put on and easy to lose. 2) the crosshairs are thick not thin so it's harder to center an object accurately and 3) the adjusting knobs are metal w/o nylon tips so they will mark up the finderscope tube. Orion uses plastic lens caps, finer crosshairs and nylon adjustment screws. Thus I would not recommend this finder scope. I'd recommend the Orion and if it costs a few bucks more, worth it.

This finder scope is a monster
My Orion 150mm (6 inch) 6i telescope came with an Orion EZ Finder II Telescope Reflex Sight with a red adjustable brightness LED dot which is not a great choice for a tabletop mount 150mm telescope. This 9x50 angled finder scope is of a monster size and just what my 6 inch telescope needed. The base slid in perfectly to the Orion factory mount that comes built on the 6i telescope. I’ll still need to get the finder scope aligned with the telescope, but so far I am extremely happy with the 9x50 finder scope. There’s also a crosshair in the scope. If anything changes I’ll update my review.

Very unstable.
Just got this and so far I am not impressed. The front of the scope is not supported and wobbles in the mount. There was an o-ring included that I would assume is there to hold up the front but it is too small. It is also a cheap black o-ring of the type that will dry up and crack within a few months anyway. I will need to print a TPU grommet to support the front before I can use it.

Very little adjustment and scope keeps slopping around
This is the review for the Astromania 6x30 Finder Scope, Black - Provides an Upright, Non-Reversed Image. The scope by itself is alright. It is sturdy enough, visual is as expected to a 6x30 upright finder scope. Reticule is thick and well marked. The eyepiece that contains the upright optics and the reticule can be removed and it is made out of plastic - which means that it is easy to drill and add a small LED. Focus adjustment is done by screwing or unscrewing the front part of the scope and once adjusted it can be firmly locked in place with a counter screw ring. The mounting plate is sturdy enough. The ring with the adjustment screw is really poorly designed. It does not provides a lot of directional adjustment and the scope is left with a significant amount of slop. For use with a main scope at higher magnification it can become an issue and might need to be fixed - either fiddling around with shims and rubber bands or saving the time and frustration and investing in a different product.
