Perfect for my 3rd graders. I was worried about it being too cheap but it’s perfect- and they can do it independently. I marked it down one start bc a few of the ribbons were frayed and I had to supplement my own. I set it up on my back table and allowed my students to pack their own ornament bags and then create their ornament. Took minimal support. Directions were clear, too. Thanks!

This was a really great activity for my son's 11th birthday party with a Christmas Theme. Kids ranged in ages from 5-12 years and all enjoyed and could complete with minimal adult support other than reading and demonstrating directions/steps. It took approximately 15 minutes. Adults need to "tie" the ends into bow shape and help with putting a knot in the ribbon for tree hanging. I found it most helpful to prepackage all the pieces for each child by putting them into sandwich bags. That was really helpful and cut down on needing to count everything out and make the kids bored at a party. I would make sure you do not count on making exactly 24 with this kit, you want extra parts. One green ribbon had a slight cut in it and I needed to get another for the child. Also, one child lost a bead so I replaced that. Overall, kids had a great time and it was pretty simple to make. Ornament is sturdier and will be longer lasting than many other child made ornaments.

Very cute for my daughter and I to make together. My gma and I would make these when I was little. My daughter and I give them out as little pre-Christmas gifts. Great for kid’s Christmas parties or even crafts for any age. We’ve made about a dozen and we have enough for a dozen more. May save some for next year to make. Very nice!

I might be spoiled from OTC individually packaging crafts, but it makes life so much easier when you're doing this craft with a group if it's already divided up. Other than that though, this is an easy craft to make, but looks very nice. The kids loved it. My 4 & 7 year-olds both made them. It did take the 4 year-old a little longer because those red beads are tiny - but a great way to work on fine motor skills.
