Works great for the holidays

Initially purchased one 100 LED cool white string to setup my christmas tree. Ordered a second 100 LED light set to connect to the first in order to replace my older light strings which didn't match the LED brightness of the new set.This made it easier to simply light up a Christmas tree with just two 100 LED cool white strings instead using 3 to 4 smaller sets daisy chained together to get the same coverage. Furthermore, the brightness was consistent on both 100 strings and I've had no issues with bulbs going bad thus far.The instructions clearly state to not leave them on for over 60 days I believe and that you shouldn't overload the light strings with too many daisy chained strings as is. That may lead to the lights going bad over time but I have yet to experience this.

Light sets don't seem to change colors when I try changing them. No real instructions so you have to figure it all out on your own. I requested a return and refund so I can keep my options open. I have until February. I'm going to change the battery on their rather cheap remote and see if that makes a difference as I really want these to work. Nice size bulbs. Be great to put out and leave them changing light colors for different seasons and holidays. Finally after channging batteries good lights to change. Still wod be nice to have some directions included.

I love the crystal-drop oversize shape of these; kinda retro, and some how feels more like it's for kids - we get a lot of really small trick or treaters, and I needed something to light the path to my house. For me it happened to be the perrrrfect length, covering my front porch and bannister - just remember if you plan to wrap it around a bannister, you need to maybe double your expected length, as the wrapping takes up some of the length.The crystal-drop shape bulbs are never as bright as the smaller traditional bulbs or modern LED's; this is ok for me, as I will have a few other lit points on my walkup and in my decorations. Don't expect these to blow up the night alone. But I have found this true of all the old-school looking ones that have this shape. I'll probably get more for next year!

I LOVE to decorate for every holiday. This just added an extra flare. We put them on the peaks of our house and change the colors for every holiday. Red/ green for Christmas, multicolored for New Years, Red for Valentines, green for St Patty's Day, Red/blue for 4th of July, Veterans Day and Memorial Day, etc. I just LOVE and the compliments I get are abundant. They go on at dusk and automatically stay on for 6 hours. It even remembers what colors it's currently programed for. So, no maintenance until the next holiday. We always come home to a festive house as a the neighbors get to enjoy it year round.

The options of colors is really fun! They look great. My one complaint is that the remote needs to be close to the lights to work. So we have to get on the ladder to change colors. Since our outlet is on the roof.

We purchased 10 strands of these lights last Christmas season. They are super bright, but we have a few bulbs out after using one season (Dec to Jan). They do not come with any extra bulbs or bulb covers. The bulb covers are not secure. 60 of the covers fell off last season from the wind. The remote is not as strong as they suggest. We have to be within 5 feet of the sensor outside in order for the remote to work properly. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a remote. Overall, I would not buy these again.
