Let's Learn About Ramayana! The Story of Diwali (Maya & Neel's India Adventure Series, Book 15)

Excellent book, my son loved it and still asks to read at bedtime now! 🙂

This is a really poorly written, tacky book. I rewrote the story to tell my class and didn’t use this as it was so badly written.

We have always been fans of the Maya and Neel series! When the Ramayana book came out, I was eager to share it with my children. When I read the book to my two girls, I was struck by how engrossed they were in the story, and how they fascinated they were by every twist and turn. I felt humbled and privileged to be able to pass on this cultural legacy to my children - and grateful to the authors for perfectly adapting the great epic into a simple retelling for young children. They have managed the difficult feat of being authentic to the great Indian tale. Truly a wonderful book, and a must have in your children's library! - Anand & Susan

This was such a great take on the story of the Ramayan and illustrated in such a fun way! We used two of these to create a storywalk to tell the story at our Diwali party. We put the pages on posterboard and spread them out around the park. The kids were so engaged in the story and were vying for spots in the front as we moved from sign to sign!

My daughter & I love these series. This new addition is so well written & beautifully illustrated! Ms. Ajanta is our fav author & we can not wait to see more of her creation.
