I have not tried the product out because I ordered it after the holidays but I am sure I am going to like the results. It is so simple, just strap it on over a regular shoe and it transforms into a period century appearance. I bought the colonial buckle and witches cover-up. both arrived in clear packaging. the period century buckle has a little bit of weight to it but for the occasion. I have plans to buy a few more at a later date.

These buckles add an authenticity to a colonial costume. They are made with an elastic band to either fit over shoes or under the foot inside the shoe. They do tend to slip and need to be adjusted from time to time depending on how long they're worn and the elastic could stand to be wider and stronger. But they fill the bill so to speak.

They are very sturdy and very realistic looking. Will turn a normal pair of shoes into a pilgrim's shoe.

I know some mentioned the straps piped but I had no problems at my event. I danced and walked around all night - no problem. To be on the safe side, I bought an extra pair since they were so cheap. They absolutely served the purpose.

The product slips on your shoe and has a metal buckle not plastic. I’m dressing up for Halloween as Billy Butcherson from Hocus Pocus, so I needed that colonial touch.

Good stuff. Just as advertised.

I think these look fantastic, great to price too. However, the quality leaves a bit to be desired. I ordered these for my 5th grader’s Colonial Day celebration at school. The event lasted 4 hours, sadly the buckles did not.
