UPDATE 06/15/2016I have now had these towels for just about 4 months. I have changed my rating from a five.. Down to a two. Gently used and washed as needed. Since I've never had this issue with other towels and I know how to do laundry... I'm not sure why these ones have begun to FALL APART.. It's awful. Makes me a little sad too because these are my favorite towels. For the price they are, I really am in utter shock.I love these towels. They are so thick! They are also heavy but in a good way. The absorbency with these towels is superb. They felt dry after using them to dry off from the shower. I do recommend people wash them two or three times before even using them. Egyptian cotton sheds lint like crazy for the first few washes and dryer cycles. So to keep the fuzz from getting on you and your bathroom, just toss them in the washing machine and dryer, repeat this two or three times in a row. Usually by the tenth or so wash they will be at their softest, even though they are already outstanding after just the first wash. The company sends a thank you card with a personal signature as well, which is nice, it makes you feel appreciated.

I will lead with I was real weary spending this much on two towels. However, I do not regret this purchase at all. Immediately you can feel the weight and thickness of these towels. I was unsure on softness at first but a couple washes later and I was not dissapointed when it came time to use them. They do shed quite a bit, the first time I threw them in the dryer they completely filled the lint trap. I mean completely filled. When stacked next to my other cheaper towels, even my larger ones, these are around twice as thick, it's amazing.Now for actual use experience. These towels are way softer feeling when drying off than any towel I have ever used myself. I love them. However, the sheer weight of the towel, with wet hands, makes them a little tricky to hold onto sometimes. Never enough to drop it but it was slipping a little. Another thing I noticed is the towels are so thick that when you dry off with one side, it will feel like the towel is really wet kinda fast but the other side of the towel will feel almost completely dry. I was dissapointed in the absorbancy category until I realized the water wasn't even soaking through the entire thing. That did make me reduce a star for absorbancy though because I'm not sure it's really great that the water stays on the one half but it's also not terrible, just flip it around. Overall though, I might actually buy two more of these towels so I never have to use an inferior towel again.

So I splurged a bit, including the daily deal, I thought it would be a nice treat. I'm a huge fan of ExceptionalSheets. From sheets to pillows, I couldn't ask for any improvements whatsoever. I knew I would love the towels - and I do! I was blown away with the weight of them. It broke my heart, but I shared a towel with my daughter, so I only have one of these beauties. I'm a big wimp when it's cold outside - I seem to think my house doesn't have heat - if it's cold outside, I'm cold inside. The first time I used the towel it was cold.. and I kept waiting to freeze to death when I turned the shower off.. but I didn't! The towel was so nice and big, and heavy, that as soon as I wrapped it around myself it immediately absorbed every drop of water, so I wasn't shaking and fumbling around trying to get dressed quickly. This is by far the best towel I've ever owned - or even experienced in expensive hotels or spas. Not to mention that this company is owned and operated by veterans, and it's all made in the USA. That's enough to make me a customer - but when you experience their products - you will also be hooked for life. Highly, highly recommend ANY of their products.

I've ordered at least 3 different sets of towels from Amazon and a few others from department stores. I'd been looking for thick, absorbent towels and I'm so happy to have finally found these. I will definitely be ordering more.

These towels are decent at best - but certainly not worth over $30 each. If they were $10 each (or less) I would give them 4 stars. When I first opened them I was very disappointed in how thin and scratchy they were. I ran them through the washer & dryer hoping that would help. No luck. I've been on a mission to try to find the thickest and softest bath towel that I can. These have been the most expensive that I've purchased, yet one of my least favorite. The best towels I've found so far is Calvin Klein from Costco online at $12.50 each (although it looks like they are either out of stock or no longer sold).

No idea how / where these were stored but they were delivered with the most disgusting odor !! So bad I wouldn't ever try to wash them. Returned , naturally !Side note: I have three other sets of these towels, they're nice a and thick, fluffy and absorb water well..The only (and quite important) downside is they don't dry out ! Use them once or twice , then there're too wet to use again.

I love these towels, they are the softest towels I have used outside of some high priced hotels or resorts. After a month of use and several washing's, they are holding up just fine and are still just as soft. Not only are they soft, but I have hardly ever used a towel that truly can dry a body, these absorb the water and dry out when properly hung for another use. They seem pricey at first, but I would happily buy more, and more than likely will, if needed.

OH MY WORD!!! These towels are awesome! So fluffy! So THICK!!! Super SOFT!These towels are just like the ones you would find in an expensive hotel. They washed up and stayed thick. I am super pleased with these towels.The color is JUST as described. They also did not shrink as much as the towel you would find at one 'mart's.My husband showers on a daily basis as he works 7 days a week, and I just know that these will hold up to the daily use.I had a similar set when we got married 13 years ago, and they still hold up well. I know these will as well. I am super impressed!I had to give 5 stars, I would give more if I could!

DO NOT GET THESE. I got this in dark purple and even though they are soft and thick, they never stop releasing fuzz. I have washed them several times and they keep releasing so many fuzz my bathroom is covered with it all over.Also, after 2-3 washes you can see lose threads coming out the edges .AND worst of all, ALL of my laundry came purple the third time I washed them.Once more downside, this take ages to dry. You have to spin them twice in the dryer to have them completely dry.This are just not worth the money.

Great towels! I think I would go for the 600gsm next time but these are pretty darn awesome.

Very thick heavy towels nice quality, wash well and take a while to dry. Think they will last a long time which is good as they are not cheap to buy
