Don't waste you money!plz
I would not recommend anyone to buy this product! I bought new batteries for this can opener because they did come with them. I placed them in and it wouldn't come on. So I gave it a lil shake cause the batteries didn't sit flush! They kinda and a little room to move. Tried them again and still didn't work. So I turn the opener upside down and pressed the button and it came on but I had to leave it upside down or it would shut off!! So I decided to tape the batteries down, then put the cover back on thinking maybe that's the problem. Nothing!! Went back to not working at all! Don't waste your money like I did! Just go to Walmart and get you and opener! A least you can easily exchange it if it doesn't work! I lost money on this one and I'm upset because I still don't have an opener!!!😡

Open up a can of goodness
The media could not be loaded. Honestly a great product to have around! I participate in charity canned food drives from time to time and I would use one of those large plug-in openers, but this was a game changer for me! Now I'm not limited to one location when opening cans, and when you're working with hundreds of cans it can get very frustrating quickly having to move the cans around constantly with little help. It's very easy to use, every time a new volunteer would join the kitchen, can opening was a no brainer to teach, and it's safe for children as well. The build quality is solid, It fits nicely in my hand and it is small enough to carry around anywhere which makes it really great for packing in a camping or picnic situation. Also when in an outdoor event, I can just use this instead of knife which could potentially ruin a good knife or, if I'm not careful, hurt myself trying to open a can with a knife.Due to some questions here are the directions on how to use the device and a short video to show how easy it is.Place the opener on top of the can so that the gear and blade surround the lip of the can. Tilt the opener down to ensure that it is secured. Press the button on the opener and allow the opener to rotate a full 360 degrees. When the opener has made a full circle, it will automatically stop rotating. At this point, press the button once again to turn the opener off. Lift the opener and the top of the can should be magnetically attached to the opener. If the top of the can does not come off, you may need to lift it off manually. All in all, a very useful and clever device to have around if you want to save space in the kitchen and open cans quickly with little effort at a very reasonable price.

Space Saving Can Opener
Worked great the first couple uses. I picked it up last week and it would not attach to the lid of the can. Turns out the magnet fell off. Not sure how that happened. My husband was able to snap it back into place and it works fine now, just hope that is not a common thing to happen. Other then that, I like it a lot. Does not take up a lot of room, and seems to work well.

Two Stars
It is very slow and it sucks out the battery life very fast.

Would be awesome if it lasted longer than a few months.
This was such a great new gadget to have in our kitchen. So easy to use, even for grandma who is 90! Unfortunately, it worked for 3.5 months and is now not working. Looking through past questions about this product, it seems that this is not uncommon. Such a shame. Loved it, but don't want to spend $40 to $50 per year on can-openers. :(

Works GREAT! And both the can & the lid end ...
Works GREAT! And both the can & the lid end up without sharp edges. My last one left a sharp edge on the can. But my advice to you, is to change the batteries fairly often. When it batteries wore out of my old one, it was right in the middle of a can. It was EXTREMELY HARD to get OFF, & it ruined the opener AND the can I was trying to open. Wouldn't hurt to have a back-up opener.

Hands free & safe edges
Works well. Sometimes doesn't stop when finished, though.
