I have been using these notebooks for over 15 years to record my interactions with God through His Word. He still speaks! When I know what He says to me, I know what I am authorized to say to Him! These sturdy books hold up excellently over time.

My favorite thing about these books is the paper quality. You can write on them and ink and it won’t bleed through. It’s certainly not card stock but it’s a very heavy maybe 28 pound or more paper thickness. I also love the line size, that is the space between the lines. It works well for my medium handwriting.

The Optik paper in these notebooks is very fountain pen friendly, even when using medium and broad nibs, with no show throuh, bleeding, or feathering.

I love these! I use them for journaling, Bible Study, and whatever else I can think of!!

It is a great notebook after all, but the paper is too white and shiny. I guess that is the reason why it doesn't absorb the ink. Do not use black noodler's bullet proof ink with this notebook. The ink will create a mess and hard to dry, but other ink is fine.

I use these at my desk for jotting random thoughts and I love it. Paper doesn't bleed with gel pens, spiral and perforated in case you want to rip a page out.NOTE: These are not 8.5x11, just fyi.

I've used all sizes of Black & Red notebooks for many years and have come to prefer the A5 size. But the A5 version with poly plastic cover is floppy and hard to use in one's lap. This Germany-made hard-cover version is ideal. The cover itself is sturdy and nicely textured and easy to use anywhere. I have ordered and re-ordered this version several times already and hope the company plans to keep in production for many years to come. There is also an A4 version with the hard cover for those who prefer larger pages.
