Slingshot SUP High Pressure Inflator Valve

Might be I have a five star, but I'm a bit unhappy that the description does not mention it will NOT fit an "original/real" Halkey-Roberts valve.I have a Seaworthy (that's a brand) inflatable. The engraving on the valves says Halkey-Roberts St. Petersburg. From their catalog its # 690NSBVG BOAT VALVE. This adapter LOOKS like it's for Halkey-Roberts valves, but it does not fit. The insert is too long. I added another washer I found for my garden hoses. Now it's hard to turn it, but at least it seems to be tight. I can now fill the boat, but not measure the pressure. The Halkey-Roberts valves have a "pin" in the middle that needs to be pressed down to deflate the boat (or measure the pressure). With the additional washer this does not happen anymore. So, I can fill the boat with my compressor (or scuba tank) with this adapter, not measure the pressure, so I think 3 stars are justified.

This WILL WORK with NEWER AquaMarina paddle boards. Specifically, it worked with a 2016 AquaMarina Fusion. I wish the schrader stem part was longer so there was more clearance to hook my pump too, but it works.Photo shows that the distance between the slots and the o-ring is the right size. Valve on right comes attached to an AquaMarina hand pump (the other end of the hose cracked on the 3rd use). Other photo is the adapter seated in the isup valve with no air leaking.

1st time SUP buyer and since I'm 60 years old I was truly dreading pumping the board by hand. I just received my new Tower SUP and tried to pump it up using the supplied hand pump and after the first 10 strokes I was feeling like I'm going to get a stroke myself. Fortunately I also purchased this little valve at the same time I ordered my SUP so I decided to pull out my truck's Viair tire pump and see how it'll work. Well, I can't be happier! It inflated the board to the max (15 psi) in about 4.5 minutes. Keep in mind that the valve is quite small and can be lost easily so I drilled a hole in the wing nut and added a red cord for better visibility.

Works as advertised with my 2018 iRocker All rounder iSUP. You just have to be aware that the adapter can't be pulled in any direction or it will start to leak. As your SUP inflates and the board rises, it may change the way the air hose is affecting the valve adapter. Keep an eye on it as it fills and you'll be golden!

Modified this adapter to work with my iRocker Paddle Board and a Ryobi battery powered Hi/Lo pressure inflator. I had to replace the gasket with a larger one and trimmed it with a razor to create a nice fit. Then I needed to insert a spacer so that the spring-loaded valve on the iRocker would depress when I locked it on. It took some experimentation but it works fine now.

The Inflator Valve works well and allow us to inflate a paddle board quickly with a compressor that we have in garage. I would give the valve five star rating, but the kit gets a four star rating because the added pressure gauge is an unnecessary addition for me, although some may like its addition. If you have an inflatable item and a air compressor then this is a very worthwhile valve.

Good product but it really depends on the pump you're using. I tried to fill up a SUP using a tire pump that I connect to the car battery. It literally took 30 minutes. I assume if I had gone to the gas station and used their pump then it would have filled up much faster but I want to be able to keep my boards deflated until I get to the beach then inflate them. I have two boards. I just need to arrive an hour early.

Pros- Works great , easy to use , fast (5 minute) effortless inflation, accurate low pressure gauge . I have high column compressor at home . Hand pump takes 10 minutes w/ my SIC, or my LPC , can be work for a small person. My 12 volt pump takes 11 minutes Con- a built in pressure indicator would be a plus but it would make it larger
