UPDATE:December 2017One of the upper suction cups' loops just broke with my cat sleeping in it. She was dumped onto the floor. Disappointed zbout the quality of the cups. Now to figure out where to purchase the replacement.(Sept. 2017). My cat absolutely loves this product! The picture posted would be a replica of any picture that I would post, given my cat is a Russian blue. The suction cups are easy to manipulate given the tabs on their sides, the material is rugged (there are many plucks as she prepares to laydown) and comfortable. I actually have this placed on a window above my bed – the sliding side of the window fixture. I like that I can easily pull the base away from the bottom suction cups and lay it flat against the window, suspended by the suction cups above- convenient and simple. The next experiment will be to use in the back of the forerunner on our next road trip ( of course positioning it so that it does not up skewer driver views of windows.- which should be easy enough ).

I bought this bed because I got a cat and he needed a good perch to hang out on.This bed is the best of its kind that I've seen. The mesh net feels very sturdy and conforming to the cat's weight. Just put a blanket over a heat pad and my cat loves to hang out on the bed. The bed is suspended by two metal cords that attach to suction cups. The suction cups have held for a couple of months so far with no sign of failing me or my cat. The cords, being made of metal, inspire confidence in their strength as well.Assembly is very simple to understand, but the parts fit together so tightly that you may spend ten or fifteen minutes trying to get it to fit together properly. If you want a tip, find the Velcro patch on the underside of the mesh netting, and undo it until the PVC pipes are fully assembled. This made my assembly far easier.My roommate bought another bed from a different manufacturer that used plastic cords and a cheap fabric net that failed on her (and her cat) within a few days of setting it up. This bed that I'm reviewing now has been going strong for months, and I'm happy to recommend it to anybody who is in the market for this particular product. You won't regret your purchase!

June 2018 Update After 1 Year Of Use:My cats really love this window seat. They are in and out of it all of the time and love watching me come home from work. The frame, Velcro, and cables are sturdy, but the suction cups? UGH! For a product MADE to be stuck to a window I am so disappointed.The bottom ones keep popping out from the pipes and dumping my cats onto the floor. I think I am going to use a bonding agent of some sort to keep them permanently inside. It is advertised this will hold 50 lbs, and my biggest cat is 15 lbs... and it has fallen several times with him on it. He is a very jumpy cat and he is very cautious around it now.Worse yet, the suction cups where the cables attach to broke!!! I bought 2 window seats. I used both suction cups from the second hammock and they broke, and then one off the other hammock broke. The quality of the suction cups is atrocious. 6 months in 2 of the cups had broke, and about two weeks ago the last one broke...My cats loved the seat so I had to try and come up with a way to save it for them. This review used to be two stars but now that I have found an okay compromise and they are able to still happily use the seat I bumped it up to 3.I did a lot of suction cup searching and finally found the- Get ready for a huge title- SANNO Double Hooks Suction Cups Vacuum Hook for Flat Smooth Wall Surface Towel Robe Bathroom Kitchen Shower Bath Coat,NeverRust Stainless Steel (2 pack)- hooks worked wonders! If you follow the instructions and stick them to the window they are amazing! It has a place where you can hook the cables and they are a million times more reliable than the suction cups which the cables attach to. I will attach a link below for them!Considering the price of the seat, I would have preferred the suction cups be of excellent quality and for the advertising to be adjusted to something reasonable. The seat is well constructed, but the suction cups are a bit of a problem. The ones on the base came loose from it after awhile and I had to re secure them. One cup on the strings was really difficult to get to stick and I had to wet it and let it dry before use. Cleaning the window first was also really important. I've seen a lot of reviews where the piece holding the strings to the cup broke; I would suggest placing them so that the slot is verticle as that seems to hold the device in place with less strain on them. I have had mine for several months with no breakage. That said my 2 cats both love this seat and use it daily.
