Don't over fill!
The product looks good, and the dasher dashes just fine... the only real issue is the "lids"... the seal on the lids isn't great, and having overfilled some of the dashers and going to store them... the "pop" sound in the cupboard alerted me to the fact that the expansion of vapours inside the bottle seemed to lend to the tops popping off...Luckily I heard it and the crisis was averted... but whatever volumes you're reading - you can actually store closer to 1/3 or 1/2 the volume safely when not dashing.

Nice for homemade bitters for a home bar or for gifting
I like that there are a variety of styles of bottles. The stickers for labels are a great idea, but I am not using them because it looks kind of 'wonky'. Love this set otherwise though.

Cute Bitters Bottles
These are very nice and functional bottles for your cocktail bitters. The size is much larger than a typical bottle of bitters, but still compact. Each bottle is a different design, given them a cool retro feel. They all have stoppers and dash tops (so when mixing drinks you can pour just a few drops at a time). And they all sit on a bamboo platter. The platter includes enough room for a few other small bottles or other items. The only downside is that these come with very small stickers, that look like cork, for marking them with the name of the enclosed bitter. I can't write something like "Angostura" small enough to get it on the label. And I expect I may switch the bitter in some of these - eventually I'll run out of the little stickers. If you're looking to up the design of your home bar with some really cool looking bitters dispensers, I don't think you'll find something much better than these.

Attractive set - good price - a few problems
THE GOOD:- These bottles/decanters are of mid-range quality and look very pretty on the bar.- Amazon has the absolute best price on this set (have seen it elsewhere for as much as $25 more).- All the dash tops appear to function properly.THE NOT SO GOOD:- Due to inconsistencies from bottle to bottle, I received one that didn't fit any of the dash tops. I had to modify the cork on one topper to get it to fit.- The labels that come with the set are cute, but don't adhere to ridges over time. Since all the bottles have some sort of surface design, you won't see longevity with these.- The balloon stoppers have cheap plastic bases, which deters from the look and quality a bit. They should have used real cork on these as they did with the dashers.THE FINAL VERDICTDespite the issues I've noted, these are a good buy and will elevate your bar. Note that you will need to adjust the way you add bitters to cocktails, since commercial bitters that come in a bottle with “speed pourers” dispense more than a "dash" from a custom bitters decanter.A dash is actually the most nebulous measure in craft cocktailing... most agree that it is somewhere close to 10 drops, about 1/5 teaspoon, or just under 1ml of liquid. But you'll also find those who insist a dash is 1/2 teaspoon, or 2.5 ml. This disparity is why interpreting recipes is an art, rather than a science. So there will be a bit of a learning curve with these as you dial in flavor profiles. With these particular decanters, I have determined that 2.5 dashes = 1 dash from a commercial bottle (= just shy of 1/4 teaspoon, or ~1.25 ml). So, multiply the number of dashes called for in a given recipe by 2.5 when using these, and err on the side of caution. That is, if the recipe calls for three dashes, you will multiply 3 X 2.5, and end up needing 7.5 dashes. Since you can’t realistically do a “half-dash,” put in 7 and taste. Adding one more may be good, but you may find 7 is just right. Happy experimenting! Salud!.
