I needed an alarm clock for my daughter and wanted one with sound/music options rather than a blaring alarm. She wanted to be able to see the time at night without pushing a button and to be able to use the light for reading when her book light runs low. This clock is perfect! It gets bright enough for her to read and she loves that she can change the colors. She is also enjoying the sleep timer, the music choices and the FM radio option. It has been pretty easy to set up and we’re very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  This was a Christmas gift for each ofy kids. They love having so many choices for sounds and light display and get excited to pick each night.As a parent, I find some of the sounds annoying, but I guess that's the point of an alarm. It's a mix of nature sounds and classical tunes or am/fm radio. You can also choose between solid colors of moving light displays and can adjust the brightness of each. Set up was pretty simple as long as you read through instructions. Don't try to wing it. The daylight mimicking light that glows during the alarm is nifty, however it doesn't aide in waking my hard sleepers in the morning, but that's not to say it couldn't be helpful for others. All around, this little clock packs a lot into one little gadget! We are very happy with it and would buy again!

The light alarm is great. It's easy enough to use after getting used to the somewhat numerous buttons. Sounds are not great, but radio works (not amazing quality speaker, but fine enough). This is generally true of all the products that look roughly the same. As a type of product, sunrise alarms are a 5-star concept. WITHIN sunrise alarms, this is more like 3.5 or 4 stars at best. It's not the model I'd recommend most but I'd still want it if it were all I could get.I like that if I turn off the clock display to zero at night, it's totally dark, and then it turns on in the morning with the "sun" light.The novelty color features as a multi-color lamp are especially beautiful and nicer than the options I found in competing models. But I don't plan to use them really, they aren't the main purpose.Complaint 1: The full-circle light means the time display is IMPOSSIBLE to read when the light is bright (unlike the product images which imply that you can see both, you can't)! The lights that separate the time display are better because you can still see the clock display while the light is on.Complaint 2: There's NO light-only option, the closest choice is to pick the most mild sound at volume 1. (UPDATE: I found a competing product that has a no-sound option, so it's not only possible in principle, it's available)Mild annoyance: there's no way to snooze the sound without snoozing the light, and there's no way to turn off the alarm without also turning off the light (better turn on *another* light in the room, this can't just be set to stay on after the alarm).In the end, I'm happier with another one I got that had a no-sound option, rotary smoother controls for loudness and brightness, and the clock is visible even when the bright light is on. The other one doesn't have as nice a multi-color effect, but in every other way it is equal to or better than this one.

I have owned a Philips wake-up light for several years and recently bought this for a second bedroom. I love all the additional features this one has, such as the two alarms, and all the different colored modes which are all quite pretty and make for great ambience. In the sunrise simulation mode, it gets just as bright as the Philips, so I think it pretty much beats the Philips on all counts and is less than 1/3 the price, so just an incredible value. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the controls can be a little hard to remember. There are a lot of buttons and some of them have multiple functions, so occasionally I find myself fumbling around in the dark for longer than I'd like trying to turn off the radio or some such after bumping it. The main alarm buttons at least do have some bumps to make it easy to find them, I wish they could have added some way to recognize the rest of the buttons by touch and then it'd be flawless. Still, it comes close enough, that combined with the amazing value I rate it 5 stars.

This alarm clock has improved my mornings considerably. For the price, there are an impressive number of settings and options that make it useful beyond just using it as an alarm clock. The buttons aren't completely intuitive, but with the instruction booklet and a little practice, it was easy enough to get the hang of them. The only feature that I miss on this clock is that the light doesn't stay on when I sleep the alarm.I did encounter a problem with my clock shortly after only a couple of weeks of use. I contacted the seller and they were not only very kind and apologetic about the issue, but they immediately sent a replacement. Excellent service!

Very happy with this product -- great quality (sturdy construction), easy to setup and offers a number of different options (dual alarms, variety of color choices, sleep sounds, AM/FM radio). I bought this for a child to help with sleep/wake issues and it has really worked.Great product, good value and great service (received shipment quickly)

This alarm clock has really changed my mood waking up in the morning - especially in the winter time.You can choose a variety of colours and sounds (some are low quality) to wake up to.The light gets extremely bright on the highest setting, but you can control how bright youd like it to be.Worth the purchase !
