Nice all-around paddle
I'm relatively new to PB having started playing this past July. Prior to this the only paddle I had played with was one that came in a $200 kit I bought that included a net, 4 paddles and 4 balls. The brand of that original paddle was "Anything Sports" (the kit is sold here on Amazon, so if you look you'll see it). The paddles in the kit were fine for a newbie, but after having played a couple of months I wanted something that would hit more consistently as I found the Anything Sports paddles to often hit dead shots and not to have a very generous or forgiving sweet spot.I just received this paddle yesterday and played with it last night. I really enjoy the feel of it. I wasn't sure if I would like the smaller grip (although adding some grip tape is a quick fix for that), but I actually do like the grip as it is. I found that the paddle hits much more consistently and there is a greater sweet spot than what I had been playing with. I was able to hit power shots with greater force and control while not noticing a drop-off in the finesse shots either. This seems to be a very good all-around paddle and I recommend it to anyone looking to step up from their original starter paddle. I also think that many seasoned players would do well and enjoy this paddle.
