My favorite EDC pen!
I have used hundreds of different brands and models of pens ranging from fountain to gel and ballpoint and rollerball. I’ve owned and used Pilot, Parker, Cross, Sheaffer, Rotring, and many more. I’ve even used cheaper pens like the ubiquitous Bic and Paper Mate stic pens. I’ve had this Sheaffer Sentinel ballpoint for over 2 years now and after if turning to it more and more have found it a daily use pen. It isn’t flashy or fancy, but i find the Sheaffer K refill is smooth and reliable. And the sentinel is the perfect combination of weight, girth, and comfort. It has a solid knock/clicker and feels good to write with. It can’t replace my fountain pens or high end roller balls, but as a daily use workhorse pen that adds an understated style without sacrificing functionality, I highly recommend the Sentinel!

Beautiful designed pens that get the job done perfectly
As a youngster growing up you used a yellow number two pencil all the time. In school you never got to use a ballpoint pen and most certainly a fountain pen was off limits. Then came the time you got to use a pen as you practice penmanship writing and script which they don't do now. What they also don't do now is have nice ballpoint pens that work properly with great ink flow and quite frankly comfortable in one's hand.I'm not a fan of the cheap pens where you get a bag of them for three bucks. They don't last very long you lose the cap if they even have one and they hurt my hands cuz they're too thin. I asked myself where have all the great pen companies gone? Have they all submitted defeat to the big box store big bag o' pens???Schaefer pens have been around forever! And they are still here! And of course Amazon as they both has everything which in this case they do because I purchased two of these pens several months ago and they are the only pens I use other than my wife stole the red one because she grew up in the same generation.Let me be specific. The feel of the pen in your hand is comfortable. The barrel is smooth and it is balanced so that when you grip with your index finger and begin to write you don't have to press as hard to make ink flow. Handwriting is very easy and smooth with my new pen. My job requires me to document results and I do a lot of handwritten record keeping. I also have carpal tunnel and choking a cheap pen it's hard on my hand but I swear I use my Schaefer pen and my hand doesn't hurt, I don't have to press real hard on the paper, because of course we use a quadruple copying system.I know I'm rambling on but I love Shafer pens, they come in different styles and sizes for your own personal taste, and like myself I hope you purchase one and find the ease and comfort but also a personalized pan that is yours because you chose your specific style and design yourself. At work there are cheap pens all over the place but I have mine clipped to my shirt pocket or clip to my lanyard and have it all of the time. I wish to also report the wife is stolen the red pen permanently. I did not receive any compensation or free merchandise from Schaefer to make honest straightforward comments about a great product that is still around 50 years later.

Great writing instrument
These are my favorite writing instrument. I like the diameter as it fits my hand perfectly. I need all the help I can get for my terrible handwriting. These pens don't goop ink at the point like the disposable ones. A great value for the price if you care about what you stick in your pocket. 😂

Looks good
It looks good and well made. I like the light green color of the pen. It should have two options for the ink color; though it just has the black ink option! I ended up ordering a blue ink refill for it.
