UPDATE May 19:After about two months the camera had issues, not entirely clear why despite various A-B tests to isolate the cable, adapter, etc. In any event, when contacted Shragis quickly replaced it without charge. They were nice to deal with and didn't make a hassle about it. Good work.ORIGINAL Feb 5:This camera works very well. We've been using it as a baby monitor for a week now and have been very pleased. We selected it due to it's PTZ ability, HD image, and wireless connectivity to our smart phones. It arrived very well packaged, installed in minutes, and worked first time.However I will add some comments for the security-minded folks out there. By now most people are familiar with camera hacking stories to know to change the default username-password combination (which is admin-admin). But I was surprised to learn from digging through the settings that there are two other default username-password combinations that should be changed if you wish to really be secure. These are not documented anywhere else.The camera instructions correctly note it ships with the default admin-admin combination and they instruct you where to change the password. If you are using only your iphone app, then you will be able to change the admin password.(see attached pic, note you cannot change the admin username here, just the default password can be changed here). But that is the only information provided to your iphone. The other two default combinations aren't evident from just the iphone app. You must log into the camera's IP address from your PC in order to access the other two accounts (see attached pic):1) Enter the IP address in the browser address bar2) Select "PC View"3) Enter the new admin-password combination you just changed via iphone app, or if you haven't changed it yet just enter the original admin-admin combination4) Navigate to Settings > Advanced > User to see all three username-password combinationsIt is here that you can see the other two default combinations of user-user and guest-guest. If you only changed the admin-admin combination, then any hacker worth their salt would still be able to get into your camera. It is here at this page where you can change both the usernames and the passwords for all three combinations. Note from trial and error, I believe the default user and guest accounts can only view the stream rather than change settings. But unless you want some stranger on the internet seeing your images, best to change all three accounts including the usernames.Note I felt the software got hung up once while I was exploring the camera settings. The reset button on the camera worked but accessing through the web interface was unstable after that. I used the reboot function from the iphone app and then everything came back with a snap. Therefore I recommend if you have instability problems to just use the reboot function instead of the manual reset function (see pic).

I'm returning this now after using it for a couple of months. It works ok for the most part and setting up was easy but the night Vision will switch on and off during day time when it's clearly light out. It will flash on and off constantly from night to day which is very annoying to see on the screen and the clicking noise it's making is distracting to my baby and she's suppose to be napping. It's also starting to make a weird noise (static) when I have the volume on.I tried emailing customer service but they kept acting like it's my problem with the wifi but I kept telling them that I have great wifi at home since I work from home and have great services everywhere including my baby's room which is right next to the wifi's room . After going back and forward with emails, I'm finally giving up.

I bought this to watch our puppy when we are away. It is wonderful! Easy to set up, great picture and reasonably priced. I would recommend for baby or puppy or whatever you need it for. I have not owned any other camera baby monitors so I cannot comment on it compared to others.

Love the camera, had a little trouble setting it up but after it was it has a very clear image, using this for a baby monitor, love the night vision. Also great that I can move it in all directions so I can see my baby if they get out of their bed in the middle of the night.Only complaint is I can't seem to find the temperature and humidity monitor on it? And also in the middle of the night twice the sound stopped and the monitor froze, so I use a backup battery operated sound monitor just invade.

I brought the camera and it didn't work. It would not connect to wifi. I called my service provider to make sure the camera was compatible with the wireless band. My router supports the camera yet the camera would not connect. I did a reset on the camera and nothing happened. Very disappointed!

Bought this product in December now it's February and it's completely quit working trying to figure out how to return it but cannot find the return on this item

Se batalla un poco al instalar en la aplicación, pero una vez instalada funciona muy bien, la visión nocturna y los sonidos son muy fidedignos.

Returned it, couldn't get it to connect to my WiFi no matter what we tried and my wifi is the right mHz....disappointed
