I Hate Fairyland Volume 2: Fluff My Life

Skottie Young never disappoints, and Volume 1 was classic. Volume 2 seems to lose focus and the individual stories are rather disjointed. The stories fail to flow naturally from one to the next. It's worth reading if you're a completist, but I wouldn't recommend starting with Volume 2. Don't worry, though, the story regains its stride in Volumes 3 & 4. Oh, and don't let Amazon trick you with the Volume 5 notice. There isn't a volume 5.

Loving this series so far. It is so fluffing amazing! The artwork is top notch. The story line is fun and crazy. Gert is as horrible as ever but you can't help but to laugh at her antics. Lots of fun characters as well. If you loved the first volume, you'll definitely love this one as well. Ready for the next one!

The the story and illustrations, had to buy the next ones. I only with they would show more action as the book would cut away from some of the parts. Otherwise great book, a funny twist on happy go lucky fairytale land. I am going to put this in my other reviews as I enjoyed the series throughout and would like to avoid spoilers and it hard to think of different ways to express my feelings on a series that I enjoyed throughout. Get it I like the books anyway have a wonderful day.

Item came on time and as expected. My children and I have read Vol. 1. We all enjoyed it. We have yet to read 2-4. I suspect they will be awesome. Skottie Young is an excellent story teller and artist! These books are geared more towards the mature, but that also depends on your level of sensibility. The curse words are cute like “fluff,” replacing an F bomb and there is violence. My 7 year old son read Vol. 1, but I’m no pearl clutcher. It’s honestly pretty tame compared to many video games and shows these kids are entertained by, but for some reason, some people get uptight when it’s in print. Just a heads up. In the end, it’s a cute, fun, worthwhile read.

It may be called 'I Hate Fairyland' but I absolutely LOVE IT!! I came across Scottie Young due to the Wizard of Oz, 6 book series he did. When I came across the first I Hate Fairyland book at the local comic shop I recognized his style immediately and had to buy the comic (after looking briefly through it.) It's unbelievably hilarious and dark, which runs right up my alley. I can't​ possibly write a decent review that would do this book justice. All I can say is I LOVE this series and I think all high school aged kid's and adult's (with a twisted sense of humor) would enjoy reading this, simply because it's blow your Muffin' Fluffin' face off AWESOME!!

Gertrude is Queen! Who is going crazy with boredom since Queens don't do any of their own dirty work. So when she gets fired, her violent and bloody quest to return home can go on. Volume 2 continues directly on from Volume 1. I enjoyed it just as much, but feel that the concept only has so much runway left before it becomes stale. I hope Young closes it out with a bang, rather than letting it linger. Recommended to fans of the first book.

We continue along with Gert becoming the Queen of Fairyland and as always everything goes down the drain for her. She is constantly finding herself self destructing the world around her. We get a peek into the future, more pop culture references, and some laughs, however I don't think this one was a good as the first volume. Definitely a set of builder stories and I can't wait to see what happens next.

She is at it again! Except this time in short story form. I think I like this better than Volume 1. So if you like anime and crazy fairyland stories, this is for you! NOT for children. LOL Almost not for me. :) But here I am writing a positive five start review.

wasn't sure if i was digging f*#k fairyland after book 1 but Gertrude grew on me in book 2 and storyline pace was lightening. Good ending/cliff hanger so bought book 3 straight away

Read it through in one sitting I loved it!

I've waited so long for this installment and fortunately I've not been disappointed by the stories it beholds. Always a laugh and brilliant artwork as ever XD
