Escoda Reserva 1214 Series Watercolor 3 Brush Set, Pure Kolinsky-Tajmyr

I am so excited for these brushes--they are beautiful. And the travel aspect of them is terrific- I am going to love these. I had thought the largest one would be thicker than it is but they are all sizes I'll use continually. Holds lots of water and paint. Nice point. I can't wait to get painting again.

Escoda makes some of the best quality brushes in the world.I have other Escoda brushes which work as they should.For some reason, this batch of brushes was terrible. They came split, did not hold a point.Not at all meeting Escoda standards, which was quite surprising to me.Even after two replacements, the brushes were simply not up to par.I would not dissuade anyone from buying Escoda brushes because usually their brushes are great performers.These somehow were worse performers than cheaper brushes.Try buying Escoda from another source, if you can. Or try another brand until they figure out what is wrong with these.Escoda squirrel mop brushes are excellent.And the Escoda Reserva regular short handle brushes are also wonderful brushes.These travel brushes missed the mark and I have not been able to get a good answer as to why.Amazon did help me to resolve the issue insofar as the cost.These are very expensive brushes, so they should perform beautifully, and they are far from that.

Great brushes. Hold so much water and pigment. Definitely my favorite brushes so far.

The middle sable brush sheds. Very disappointing. The other two brushes in this set set seem to be fine

Very disappointed with the quality. The brush hair is not holding the point. Worse than regular synthetic hair brush.
