My 7 YOA granddaughter wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I have made a number of high end OM/000 acoustic guitars over the years and have several still. Quickly I found even the smaller OOO size was too big for her. So I decided to look for something that might work for her to learn on. It didn’t need to be much as it is just for the next year or two.I found this one on Amazon. Seemed to check all the boxes that I was looking for. I knew it wouldn’t be much for the price, but hey, if it worked that was all I wanted. The first one I received was an obvious return and most likely on day 29. Had broken parts, poorly packaged, scratches, but I was surprised that it seemed the guitar wasn’t too bad if I could get a better one. Amazon sent me another one two days later. This one was new and ended up being much better than the first one. I’ve read most of the reviews and most can be chalked up too either a bad copy, not understanding guitars, or too high of expectation.I found the second one much better than I expected. Sure it’s a very low end guitar but it worked for what I needed it for. It fits her, the tuner worked fine, it looked good, the action was reasonably low, the strings made it easier on her fingers, and when tuned correctly and before starting each session the chords actually sounded decent. Comes with adequate accessories although the capo is very hard to use if you want to use it. The sound is a little better than you might expect for the price paid.She was happy. I was happy. What more can you ask. It might break tomorrow but today it’s good.So I give the second guitar and kit 5 stars as it does what I need it to do.I give Amazon a 1 star for sending a used, open box product as new, butI give Amazon 5 stars for the customer service and quick turn around time on the second one.Hence 4 stars overall.

I'm just trying to learn so I wanted a smaller guitar. The only thing I noticed is that a few of the strings are plastic as opposed to metal, and they don't really stay in tune for very long. But is it smaller and easier for a novice to handle.

We bought this for my 13 year old daughter who is very interested in starting to play guitar. The guitar is decent craftsmanship, and comes with everything that is listed in the ad. Like others, we couldn’t get the tuner to work for us, but there are a ton of good tuning apps available for free. The only issue I’ve found so far (day 4) is that it does not stay in tune, particularly the smaller (higher) strings. As a former musician, this bugs me because I can’t stand it out of tune, but for the price, it is acceptable. We simply tune it before she plays each time. I can’t play the chords because the size is too small for me but it is a great guitar for her to start with, and is easier on her fingers than the other strings. Overall I’m satisfied with this product for the price.

Bought this for my 4 year old. It's a little big for him but it's perfect for my 9 year old. They are both left handed.It doesn't really stay tuned even a day after.I'm going to see if I can switch the nylon strings to metal onesThey love it. Worth the money if you are just looking for a guitar to try and learn to play before you get an expensive one.

In talking to my grand daughter, she mentioned that she had a bucket list. On it was learning to play the guitar. I spoke to some people I considered experts and they recommended this guitar. She loves it!

I bought this Moukey acoustic left hand cut out Jr size guitar to try to learn to play as a lefty. Much harder to play left handed than I was expecting. I have a right hand Martin that I love, so naturally this one is not built near as good as my Martin, no comparison. It's a fairly decent guitar tho. The wood is on thin side, the bracing isn't as stout as a more expensive instrument. Took a while to hold a tune until the strings were stretched & played a bit. I like the sound once tuned, it's not bad for a low end guitar. Body feels fragile because it is cheaply made compared to higher end guitars. I do like it, but it wouldn't take much to ding it, so I'm extra careful with it. The gig bag is decent, thin but does the job. I really like the cord chart that came with it. Simple but cover the cords well. I would recommend it to someone wanting to try out guitar before investing in a more expensive instrument to see if you will actually play it. Tuning the strings for me was the only frustrating part of the guitar until they had time to stretch. She pretty good once stretched and tuned.

THe strap does not have hooks for the guitar

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She's been begging for a guitar and listed out everything that she needed in her letter to Santa. Saw this package and found it to match almost perfectly. Only missing a stand and one other item she had on her list, but otherwise it was absolutely a perfect match. Wish I would have caught a picture of how big her smile was when she unwrapped the big package that I put it in. She's been practicing almost every day since and is absolutely in love with her new guitar. Only thing I need to set up for her now is some lessons. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone looking to get started playing guitar and isn't fully sure of all the items that would need to get started. Great package deal and lovely craftsmanship.

The description said left handed guitar but with different colour choices.When I selected a different colour I did not notice that the description changed as well to not left handed.

Fantastic guitar package. Perfect for beginners, or for an elderly person. Size is terrific for petite folks and for youth. Strums beautifully.

Prefect for beginers

The guitar seems fine and my grandson loved it as it was a birthday gift. None of the extras it advertised as having came with it. I tried to contact company and was unable to. I’ll buy from a different company when I get my granddaughter one.
