AWESOME STILL
Have had this for a couple years now. Still working well and had an amazing IO and several M.2 spots for extra storage!

Great quality I expect from Asus
Asus has built a great board here. I am running a i9 14900k Stable at 6.2Ghz paired with 16gb x2 Corsair Vengeance 6400Mhz DDR5. I am cooling with a Corsair H150i and the chip hardly ever spikes to 80c and plays games around 50c-60c max. I also replaced the manufacturer CPU fastener with a Thermalright CPU fastener and applied Prolimatech Compatible PK-3 Nano Aluminum thermal paste to the CPU with a thermal paste spreader. The CMOS reset on the back panel of the motherboard made resetting simple. I am running the latest bios to be able to run the i9 14900K. Talked to customer service a few times and they were amazing. Make sure you check the memory compatibility list on their site as DDR5 is finicky.

MUST UPDATE BIOS for 13th gen CPU
Great MB but if you are getting a 13th gen CPU you must update the BIOS to version 2004 or newer. If you don't it will fail at DRAM light on POST. Talked to asus tech support got new ram and even a new MB and same issue. No one thought it was the CPU as that is the first POST check and it passed. After doing the BIOS update with a USB no issues and runs great! No XMP issues either with 5600MHz 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. One other thing to note if you do shut down your PC when not in use the MB RGB lights keep going unless you kill power at the PSU.Upgraded my setup from a i7 8550U with my Asus GTX 1060 6GB on an eGPU and GTA 5 at 1080 went from 50FPS to now in the desktop with i7 13700K at 1440 getting 80+FPS! 15W CPU was really holding me back.

Customer Service
Initially left a low-mid review due to needing to update the bios, seller reached out with some clarification along with some other details which I wasn't expecting. Product has been tested at a local shop and seems to work without issues, bought as an opened box and plan to have my new PC up and running next week.

Killer Motherboard
I've built plenty of PC's from scratch over the past ... 40 years. Typically I've gone for the cheapest build that would do the job, but I kind of went all out on this one, to go with our new 77" LG 4K/OLED TV. This motherboard supports the latest DRAM, works great with the NVidia 4090 Graphics Card (which cost more than everything else put together), and it has performed flawlessly for the past year and a half.

Glowing Orange DIMM light error
I'm unfortunately adding another bad review for the same issue others are having with faulty DIMM after only having built my pc 2 months ago. I took my PC in for a professional diagnosis just to be sure it was the motherboard and no other defective parts. They determined it was a board issue but also recommended I send my CPU in for a new one as well for good measure which I did, free of charge and brand new in box. I sent this board back to asus (cost $85 and took a month) only for asus to send it back with a note saying they couldn't find any issue with it so preformed no repair, just a bios update. Great. I built my PC again and it worked for a few days before the no boot DIMM error reoccured. Waste of time and money. I do not recommend this board but even more so do not recommend any asus products as their warrenty is notoriously terrible and the repair location they send all asus RMA's in the US (in Louisville Kentucky) is unreliable and will send boards back in worse condition then they received them.

Overall very satisfied.
After purchasing the i9 12900k I had to make a choice on motherboard/ram to pair with it. After deciding that im going with DDR5 I settled on this board here with some trident z5 5200mhz. Its been about a month now and everything is still running as good as can be. Not only is it a very powerful motherboard, it also looks gorgeous and matches my build perfectly. I would definitely recommend this board to anyone looking to upgrade to a 12th gen chip and DDR5 memory. The only issue I had was during initial set up I was missing my lan, wifi, and bluetooth drivers along with a handful of others. With no internet and no CD drive I had no way to get those drivers. The simple solution was to buy a cheap external USB disc drive and pop in the CD that comes with the motherboard. Youll be able to download any missing drivers in seconds. Hope this helps!! #PCMASTERRACE
