An interesting medical novel.
I found this book very interesting, if a bit horrifying at times, but was totally turned off by the internet hook ups for sex. How could an intelligent medical student not see the dangers, or the unforgivable immorality of it? Because of the his, I would never recommend this novel to any young person I know!

Better than book one
I still cannot rate this book higher than three-and-a-half stars due to the numerous grammatical and punctual errors, but so far, this book rates much better than the previous Annabel Tilson novel as well as the four-book series of her father, Danny Tilson. I do hope the next book in this series is better. I do want to add that while I have worked in many areas of medicine, psychiatric care has always been the most intriguing and in-depth specialty I have yet found. Perhaps this helped me in rating this book higher; I don't know. You read it and decide!

DOCTOR?
I'm enjoying the read of this series but don't think thriller is accurate. Also it takes four years to earn the right to be called Doctor and I'm astounded that a physician would do so in her writing. We were medical students NEVER doctors. Sorry but you're not a doctor until they have handed you your hard earned diploma.

Pretty Darn Good!
Great book, but I felt like there wasn't much of any resolution by the end of the book. Characters were good, if a little too good to be true. I'd consider this rest of the series, taking time and cost into account. Grab it up if it's free or greatly discounted, but I'd skip it if it was full price.

Another Page Turner!
Another page turner by Doctor Barbara! She really has given her readers a glimpse of what it's like to go through medical school. Annabel makes it interesting as she wrestles with her somewhat risky personal life while she keeps up with her internship. I'm anxious to see what choices she makes in her medical career. Waiting for the next book.....!

Excellent
You never know what's next. Just about the time you have all the characters nailed, poof a new turn .

Not What I was expecting.
For a book about students learning in a psychiatric setting it was interesting. I kept waiting for the twist or the unusual or the off-the-wall plot but it never happened. It was not without excitement. But nothing to keep you up at night.

A difficult read
Lacks substance. No soul in this book. Writing is OK but I am a voracious reader and this book was difficult to finish. Pedestrian.
