After reading most all reviews I was a little confused… what it did and didn’t fit with, mount to and not slip, etc. so let’s set the record straight: this thing is awesome. Arrived fast in padded envelope. Fit my Kidde 110 2.5lbs nice and snug, the small loop at the top synching around the Kidde’s dial perfectly. Is very well built/sewn and smartly designed: the neoprene-like bands running the length on either side press into and grip my ‘21 Wrangler JLU unpadded sport bar perfectly, preventing it from sliding at all when properly installed. Easy to install in 5 minutes, running the two provided straps through the hoops in the sewing to further prevent slipping, then snugging everything down nice and tight. We’ll built, cost effective, unobtrusive (black) and mounts out of the way makes this item a no brainer for any Jeep JLU owner. Thanks for making it here in the US too, by the way.

Bought a 2.5 lb fire extinguisher (which actually weighs 6 lbs) for our 4x4. Wrapped it up in this and attached it to the upright roll bar. Went up a very rocky trail up a mountain this morning and did some very crazy rock-climbing. This 6 pound fire extinguisher did not budge at all. We are very impressed with it. Two velcro straps are all you have to worry about in case of deployment.... the sleeve stays on your unit. In our opinion, one of the smartest purchases we have made for our vehicle. Snug fit, sturdy straps that wrap around your roll bar, and you can definitely see the quality in the workmanship of these holders.

Whether you're on or off road a fire extinguisher is a valuable tool to have in your vehicle. And when you need it you don't want to be digging around for it. This roll bar fire extinguisher mount works perfectly. It is highly visible (I chose red) and super easy to access. It is well designed allowing the fire extinguisher to be used while still in the holder. Just pull the Velcro straps and the entire thing (holder and extinguisher) releases. You can then pull the extinguisher pin and spray away.

Great product, color and quality. Fits nice with the 2.5# Amerex extinguisher, however it will not fit as pictured with a soft top, unless you remove the top and bracket. I was able to mount it between the rollbar and window with extinguisher facing the window, but pretty much makes it unassessable on my 2020 Jeep JLU Sport softtop.

Awesome product, I've wanted a secure, space opening mount for a couple fire extinguishers after buying bartact seat covers I was very confident. I've read comments where the kidde fire extinguishers wouldn't fit. Bartact added a slight flexibility to the mount to allow more brands to fit. That being said it holds tight. It takes a lot of force to remove the extinguisher may even require the removal of the mount, which is very easy. I prefer that, it won't eject during an accident or off road. It would have to be a serious impact to eject the item and injure passengers. I faced it downwards anyway. This is a must have for anyone with a jeep. From your hardcore rock crawler to your soccer mom. You never know when 50 bucks worth of product could save your investment or someone else. Recently I was at a gas station with a buddy when we saw a car pull in smoking from the hood. Lots of smoke. My buddy ran over with his extinguisher popped the hood and put out a small electrical fire. In the car was a male his girlfriend and their small child in a car seat. The fire department showed up 5m later.Endless scenarios, cheap insurance.
