I have many reptile units in my home that can never ever see flame. I purchased two sets of these for each level of our home. Impressive packaging for sure. The pods or balls of liquid themselves are not in glass, but plastic. I think the plastic is designed to give way versus glass which would take much force to break open during a panic. I trust these will work if we need them !! I keep fire extinguishers too but having these to throw fast onto a fire is a blessing!

I thought they'd be made of glass so when you throw them they will actually shatter and extinguish the fire. Also, the "safety instructions" card is poorly written/translated so that makes me wonder if these extinguishers are good quality or if they're as bad as the work they made on writing the safety instructions, which are important. Also, it says it works with A and B fires, which means they work on paper, wood, cloth and some plastics (A), and liquids such as alcohol, gasoline and oil (B), but NOT on electrical appliances.Due to all of these reasons, I MIGHT return them. Just might. I'd like to hear back from the manufacturer to put my mind at ease.

Wow, these throwable fire extinguishers are very chic! They look like artwork and can help save your life! I have them all around my three-story townhouse, in the guest bedroom, in the master bedroom the kitchen and downstairs by the fireplace. Fantastically clever design and I have gotten compliments on the interesting " teardrop art" I highly recommend picking up a set or two for you home, even little kids can use these safely to exit the home in case of fire. What a great concept, I hope I NEVER have to use them though, they are almost too pretty to throw! Fast shipping and very courteous service from this great company! These are really cute! I’ve always been kind of afraid of fire, so it’s nice to have these around. I keep one by my dog’s heated bed and another near an air purifier that uses heat to kill germs. The other two are in the kitchen. Do I know if these work? No. I haven’t tested them. So I’m making an assumption that they will work if you need them. The nice thing about them is that they are very cute and people will just think they are part of your decor.
