It does work well, although it does have a tendency to streak, really have to rub it well. Seems to last for several days and does not really have a heavy odor at all. Like it but have to learn how to work with it.

I received 6 compliments yesterday at work from both men and women asking me if I went somewhere on vacation. Everyone said my tan looks so real and so good! 4 of my coworkers (one women I've never spoken to before) asked me what product I used and I showed them the Amazon link and they bought it on the spot. No joke.I love that this stuff is all natural and organic and miraculously doesn't have a smell like other tanners. I'll never use another self tanner product again. It's worth every penny.Just a little tip: be careful when you apply. Wear gloves, exfoliate and moisturize with an oil free moisturizer before you apply. Be sure to wear gloves or you'll have brown hands. Start small, beginning on your legs, and see how it rubs in. Maybe get a trustworthy friend to do your hard to reach places like your back.Also, I used my normal face moisturizer and maybe didn't give it enough time to dry before applying the tanner and it became streaky and blotchy and I almost panicked bc I was afraid I'd have mud stains on my face. I quickly washed my face and it all came off. I just tried it again with a different facial moisturizer and let it dry first and it looks great :)

I was in the market for a really good self tanner. I feel like I wasted my money on this one. In spite of all the reviews I am disappointed. It is extremely difficult to apply. It starts as a green color that changes to tan. I struggled so hard with it and had streaky legs I am afraid to try again. I think the color lasts a while at least.

Great self tanner. Definitely need to use gloves to apply, otherwise palms of your hands are brownish green. Long lasting and natural, not orange. Also no smell. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because they should give you gloves.

I can't stop talking about how much I love Swell. I'm never getting a spray tan again. It's easy to put on and dries quickly so my skin doesn't have that I-just-got-a-spray-tan stickiness. I had an event and meant to put it on the night before and forgot. Normally, I would have thrown in the towel and stayed Whitey McPaleface, but instead I just put a layer on in the morning, wore it all day with my normal clothes and rinsed it later in the day. My tan was still perfect for the evening! I normally can't stand the smell of lotions for tanning, but this one is magically smell free. SO. NICE. A little goes a long way, too so I'll be using this bottle for a long time.

Turned skin greenish color. Must not be for my skin tone.

Best self tanner I have ever used. The product itself is a little intimidating with the dark color of the lotion, but when you put it on it soaks right into your skin and has an instant glow that isn't too dark and is not orange at all. No streaks and my tan has been lasting about a full week. Very happy with the results. I recommend putting on with rubber/latex gloves, I personally don't like tanning mitts, but you'll want to protect your palms when applying this.
